If the iPhone 8 disappoints me, I might have to go with the Pixel 2 or the Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus.

Knowing us Brits probably pay iPhone $1000 Uk price £1000.
Look how Apple charging UK for Apple music £9.99 in the states Apple Music costs $9.99 per month.

Not really. iPhone prices are basically USD - 50.

For example, iPhone 7+ 256GB in US is $969 and in UK £919. So most likely the OLED iPhone will be £949 in UK.

Keep in mind that a lot of people who say they're "disappointed" with the 8 will still be preordering. :)
Do you mind answering my question I asked you in this thread!. Which storage option and which model are you considering this year? Please answer it!

Why the exclamation points to @Gathomblipoob?Perhaps he doesn't know yet and will make that decision based off the KeyNote. That's what quite a few of iPhone users are doing for a number of reasons.

Not sure why those would be dissapointed by the iphone 8 but buy the S8 which will be similar just on different software

If it's price related then thats different

And did i ask you? Let him answer the question. I am talking to Gathomblipoob not you. Please @Gathomblipoob tell me what you have decided?

Could you please indicate where there forum rules states I can't comment on another post? I'm free to comment as I wish on here as anyone else is and offer my view points, which you can't be dismissive otherwise. Again, as many as others are waiting to determine their preferences based off the keynote to make decisions.

Almost everywhere else has to pay a sales tax that is similar to VAT. Only difference is our sales tax is not included in advertised price. It is just added after at the cash register instead of being included in the advertised price.

I pay 12 % in Canada. Save your frowny face for something else
I pay 20% VAT here in the U.K...I'll keep my frowny face for now thanks :( :p

i wonder if they will offer a 512GB option, it was first introduced with the iPad Pro at WWDC so i wouldn't be surprised to see it on the iPhone. Personally tho it's too much for me on a phone, i do have the 512GB iPad Pro second generation tho, I'm looking more towards a 128GB or 256GB for the iPhone 8 (Edition, X, or whatever).

I just checked my iPhone 7 storage and I've still got over 90GB's free out of 128...I think I might be able to get away with a 64GB version of the 8 if we get that option :D

When I got my 6S I was going to get the 32GB model, but the 6S did not come in 32GB, so I got the 64GB one. I thought that I will never fill that, but I nearly have. So this time I think that I will get the 128GB model this time ( I will never fill that).:)

I think it will offer 128gb and 256gb only starting at £1049 for 128gb and £1199 for 256gb. They need a signifiant price difference between the 7s Plus and the 8.

I really, really am hoping no more than £1049 for 128GB.

7s Plus 128GB will be £849 will it not?

I really don’t want any more than £1049, it’s getting ughhh at that point. £999 would be okay.

Not long to wait now anyway.

I think that the price will be about £100 less. Don't forget the general consensus of opinion says that the 7S and the7S plus will be about the same price as the 7 and 7plus are now.
That would make the '8' about £130 dearer than the 7Splus with the same 128GB configuration. And it is a big psychological barrier to break the £1000 barrier.
We shall see on the 12th.

7 Plus 128GB in the UK is £819, 256GB is £919. I expected the new varieties of these phones to be the same cost since they already bumped it up last year, and as someone has mentioned, they didn’t bump the costs of macs or ipads this year.

Also, breaking £1000 as the starting price is a big deal, and psychologically will discourage people from buying. So that puts the entry level iPhone 8/Edition at between £919 and £999. I think they’ll want to position it further away from the Plus model also, so the middle ground will be £959.

On the other hand, they may ignore all this logic and do something completely different. So it’s a moot point really haha.
