I like the white but for the iPad, I'd go black. I notice that the one I own now looks real good, the screen just disappears into the bezel when watching movies and I hardly notice it at all. I may be female, but I don't buy my devices based on preconceived inane notions that white is for a woman.
I'm getting the white one. I think it will look great with the pink cover I'm getting.![]()
I have a black iPhone, and tend to lean toward black products, however I did recently get a white Kindle and love it so I will go with white on the iPad.

As far as it yellowing over time...well likely it will be replaced by the newest model by then...

- Will always look sleek / amazing
- Attracts Gloss equally, but is more noticable
- Resale value 1 year later will sell faster
White:
- Unique, a less popular color
- Childish / Feminine in a sense

- Resale value 1 year later will sell SLOWER*

Nothing is worse than having a 1 year old white iPad.
I have a white and a black Kindle, and I prefer the white one.
I think it's ridiculous people are saying the white color looks 'feminine' or 'girlish' or 'chickish'. That's ridiculous.
You can't take a manly looking man and make him look girly because his electronics are white instead of black. Or silver. Or whatever. Grow up!![]()
Just hope the white doesn't discolor over time.

All my electronic devices are black. I will be buying the white iPad because it's a nice change from black. As for yellowing, if it's anything like my iPod video, then it shouldn't change.
It will be a bad day for me if they actually run out of white iPads on March 11.
You know, all this time since the announcement I've been planning on buying a white iPad (even though I'm a guy), but I think this thread may be changing my mind.
