Oooh, I could definitely get down with a green/teal or purple MBA! Probably not enough to go through the hassle of selling my current M1 MBA, but I’d definitely be a little bit envious!
Yeah, a teal MacBook Air! Gorgeous! However, I guess I will stick to the grey just in case I could get tired of the color.

Can understand being “very cryptic” after that attempted ransom that just went dark. (No pun intended.)

Anyway—it’s pretty easy to assume Apple will bring the bold colors to their laptops, but my Apple-trained gut says there’ll be a new MacBook—just “MacBook.” Interestingly, a schematic floating around Twitter that got virtually no coverage showed aesthetic details very similar to the most recent of plastic MacBooks. (No way they’re plastic though.)

True story, I tried getting my grandma on an iMac and thought it was so beautiful. Now I look at the same model and just think “wow, that is so f—ing ugly and stale.” I suppose Apple didn’t want their (arguably?) most iconic computer upgraded—especially a full redesign—until they could put their industry-shattering silicon into it.

Given that the Air already came in other shades beyond silver and space gray, this could be a direction Apple is considering.

If that exact shade of red is used on a larger MBP (or the larger iMac for that matter), I'd jump. Would possibly consider the MBA in that shade as a writer/research laptop. I love the darker red metallic color.

Can we also get next gen Apple silicon without the limitations to multiple displays, limited memory, and the other quirkiness that aren't being experienced with the Intel Macs?
The display limitation makes no sense - it’s such a grind monkeying around with displaylink adapters. If the M1 is so powerful why do they gimp it so badly.

I don't look at my computer and say wow I want a cool color, I care more about performance, can I upgrade it in the future. I am not a big fan of having to replace a computer every three years. With price tags of over $2500 they should last 6 years. Can I upgrade the memory, can I upgrade the internal storage or external storage, can I use a EGPU box for better graphics performance 3 years down the road and so on.

Following in the iMac's footsteps, the consumer targeted MBA will likely come with a light-grey bezel...at least that's my guess.

I’m definitely gonna have a hard time choosing between a cheaper air and a more powerful m2 MBP.

I think if the entry level 14” MBP still has the M1 then I’ll definitely go for these new Airs.

I hope they throw in some candies too a la Sweetwater and include a kiddies book or two, lol.

I want that colour options (or at least more any colours) for PRO devices like MacBookPro or iPad Pro. Dont want to look so serious and conservative with grey shades only. ✌️🎨🟠🟡🟢🟣🔴

I mean, since we're changing the colors in order to keep with the product in line with the iMac we'd have to change to name as well to something like "iBook." Why does that sound familiar...
