I don’t mind colors but let it be something more professional looking. Not like the childish iMac ones with white bezels.
I think the idea is that these are the consumer versions and the MacBook Pro models are the more professional ones.

I don't look at my computer and say wow I want a cool color, I care more about performance, can I upgrade it in the future. I am not a big fan of having to replace a computer every three years. With price tags of over $2500 they should last 6 years. Can I upgrade the memory, can I upgrade the internal storage or external storage, can I use a EGPU box for better graphics performance 3 years down the road and so on.
Sorry to say, I worked for Apple computer along with being in the computer technology field for 45 years. Apple was the first computer before the PC that had expansion slots. Just because a iPhone has a color does not mean a computer needs a color. Do I need a semi truck to be orange or do, I care about the motor, the transmission, and steering to do the long haul work everyday. Then apple isn't for you
then apple isnt for you, like everyone else is sayingSorry to say, I worked for Apple computer along with being in the computer technology field for 45 years. The bezels definitely should be white, and the keyboard as well, to keep the design coherence. But I seriously doubt we'll see colorful MacBooks. The palm rest areas would likely be washed out in a matter of months, making the whole thing look terrible. Unless they have invented a new dyeing method that we don't know of.
So... a MacBook Pro?How about something plain that is as powerful as possible!
I’m betting it will most certainly be white. Why wouldn’t Apple match the iMacs exactly?White bezels? 😂
OS X 10.0 no. MacOS 11.1, we’ll have to wait and see.75%? Does anyone really think using Mac OS with fingers would be a nice experience?
I'm sure there's still the silver option available. Plus this is probably only for the consumer oriented Macbook Air model. The Pro models would probably just carry the classic silver/space gray coloring.Sorry to say, I worked for Apple computer along with being in the computer technology field for 45 years. This is a Macbook Air, not a Macbook Pro.As long as there's still a silver or grey option. I also want it to be able to drive two external 4K monitors, have 64GB Ram capacity, wifi 6, one legacy USB A port, USB C on both sides, and a real keyboard. I feel like all of those things are actually possible except the RAM which they'll probably keep at 32GB capacity.
My bad, just saw that. Well then I lower my expectations, although I'd still like to see 32GB Ram capacity in the Air.This is a Macbook Air, not a Macbook Pro.
I'm a little confused by all the negative comments on the colors. I am 'assuming" the grey and silver would still be available. if you don't want red or purple...then just don't buy it. The people that do want it will buy it. Why is more choice a bad thing?
