Are you guys joking about this being "questionable?"

The only ones that don't believe the leaks so far are the ones who still grasps onto the mere fact iOS 7 is going to change the way it looks and it's still tacky, ugly, and pathetic compared to "being innovative". These are the same folks who yap out "it's a beta!" - when we are on the final release due in a few days.

This is the real iphone 5S - there are NO MORE SURPRISES. If there were anything out of the ordinary, you would've seen it leaked by now. Let me sum it up for you again, Tim Cook Style:

(in no particular order):

- "wooo-woooo-woooooo obnoxious crowd screaming when lights dim and some cheesy U2 song is playing in background"

- tim cook appears. Slow starting speech. Announces how successful iOS is yet again for the 7th time. Praising App Store success, apps being downloaded more than McDonald's being served. Compares to competitors and how iOS still dominates everything (but in reality, it is just not true). Begins to compliment how successful iBooks is and how it enables children to learn (while not being told the truth that more and more children have worse and worse vision staring at the LCD all day long). Talks about how great apple stores are and opening another one in vietnam. Blah blah blah, more slow un-titalating speeches about how great apple is. Trying to distort reality but his abilities are really not at the jedi master level yet.

- Of course you see mr. wart himself, Phil comes on stage. Bam, talks about improving iPhone 5. How great the iPhone 5 is (and it is a nice phone). Then talks about how crappy passwords are and how millions don't lock their devices. Introduces iPHone 5S - fingerprint sensor, talks on and on about how it's so great. How others failed and how apple succeeded. Goes on to introduce iPhone 5S itself and the new processors, updated camera, and the same old shhhhh as the iPhone 5. How great 4" screen is and how the new 5S camera can shoot 60fps 1080p video. Just that the iPhone 5 LCD can't even display 720p :rolleyes:

- More features shown on iphone 5S camera, comparisons to other cameras, knocking on nokia 1020 faux 40+ MP camera. Then the biggest surprise, iPhone 5C colored iPhones. Crowd goes bezerk.

- Tons of the same old same old same old presentation with the same product but trickled improvements from previous because who will buy an iPhone when they do everything now, they will milk everything slowly so they can call it an iPhone 6 next year.

So there you have it, sums up everything - you have seen the real deal already and unless there is an AMOLED 4" screen, some kind of super processor, or a huge battery pack, it's already all seen and done before.

You people who are doubting the reality of this leak, come this tuesday, you will just clap away like a clown and smile then wait a week to order the SAME iPHONE 5 with an S at the end of the iPHone 5!

So what you're saying is that a device rumoured to have a new processor, camera, flash, a fingerprint sensor, new colours, and more battery life is the same phone?

And that we are the "clowns" for thinking that this is new?

I'm thinking if that is some sort of ring maybe it will double as an LED for alerts, maybe even slightly customizable...

Text messages = Green
Voicemails = Red
Emails = Blue
No Alers = Led off

Actually, this would be pretty cool.

And as many have pointed out the grey ring around the home button perfectly matches the grey rings on the event invitation. This is not a coincidence. There is a light up LED around the home button for the 5S but probably not the 5C. I am guessing it can light up in all kinds of different colors for different uses.

I agree...

On my previous phone, which was a Motorola Atrix, the notification led was superb, blue for face book, green for whatsapp, red for low batt, white for i don´t remember what , etc

Besides this Atrix had the finger print sensor which I could not make it work :rolleyes: but when I "donate" it to my younger daughter she had it working on a whim and it really works!

If the button on this new iphone gets this functionalities, it will be a killer phone in my book.

well... maybe its real but personally the iphone 5 box is waaaay better looking

Lol, ^* 100% Apple fan! Thanks for the laugh ... (For the record, that's what I love about Apple ... Aesthetically pure beauty inside & out!)

haha i expect beauty from start to finish :p

definitely 100% apple fan :)

That doesn't resemble Apple boxes at all. Compare that pic to the iPhone 5 box:

I can not believe you said that?!
Can't you see that the so called iPhone 5S packaging displays iOS 5?!

I also can't believe that MacRumors posted this?!

1. This is Real, stop saying its not

2. The packaging shows iOS 7 not iOS 5.

3. This is the best post on MacRumors all week.

4. GTFO here

what is your point?

It looks just like it, except white this time and not black.

That was my thought too. There are four grey rings on the invite that look just like what surrounds the home button in these pictures.

I wonder if it lights up. The copy on the invite says, "This should brighten everyone's day." Maybe it's a notification ring. Hmmm...

That's ios 7, not 5. We have already seen in the 5c packaging sticker that the wallpaper copies the color of the phone and this phone is black which is why it has a black background. Also ios 3 was the last os to have only black backgrounds.

Either way... it's too ugly and not very Apple like... I don't believe they would use an image this bad.

You beat me to it. But yeah, I'm thinking that could be the case as well.

Also, it should be noted that the invitation says, "This should brighten everyone's day."

Makes sense to me. What more can you do to show-off both the fingerprint scanner and iOS7 with a front view of the iPhone. Probably legit, as legit as all of those USB ports on a Mac Mini that NO ONE believe was true.

By far, the funniest post I've read on this forum. Every time I check over here I keep waiting to see green kool aid drooling from the avatars of most of the posters over here.:confused:

Yes, we are all clowns - from your list of "innovations" above:

- New processor - nothing relevant, just slightly faster/speed bump;
- Camera/flash - part of the same slight "improvement", nothing substantial enough to make you ditch your SLR, or even beat other leading phones' cameras;
- Fingerprint sensor - is that all, folks?
- New colours - you must be joking;
- Battery life - we'll see on that.
