There may well be some but I didn't spot any issues in that vid.My phone looks a lot like this persons' phone when scrolling in some apps.

Alot of this can be solved if Apple let us turn off the animations. It happens with every Android I have owned after awhile. Stutter or lag is just something I have to live with. Thanks to Developer Option, I no longer put it to 0.5x to speed it up but turn off all animations. They do sip on RAM. Animations gives you the illusion of "smoothness" when most people are better off turning off animations and go back to the RAZR or candybar Nokia days when we didn't deal with them. Turning off animations is similar to users who turn off battery percentage to avoid any OCD tendencies.
Hi. Is this the worse you have experienced so far? Apart from a delay oppening Twitter app, the rest seems fine to me.My phone looks a lot like this persons' phone when scrolling in some apps.

Any comments from Jayson A on this video?
Apps are sandboxed, they shouldn't be affecting the OS or other apps. "Restore from new" is a stupid myth from min. wage apple workers who are not trained to diagnose problems.
This has been on my mind a lot lately and it just keeps getting worse.
Anyone else underwhelmed by their iPhone 7? This supposed to be the best iPhone experience, but it feels worse than the 6s in many places (except for camera).
fingerprint reader is the same on the 6S.I just downgraded yesterday back to a 6s Plus. I just got tired of the little quirks of the 7 Plus. Most annoying is the home button. I exercise (sweat) a lot and often times I can't even unlock the phone. The fingerprint reader is really bad with moisture on the fingers. The lack of headphone adapter is always biting me. I bought 4 extra adapters to keep around and I still go looking for one and don't have it when I need it. Other little quirks like the waterproofing leading to substandard audio quality just add to the list. I don't game on it or do any heavy lifting on it, so the performance difference I'm hoping is not too noticeable. I do use the camera a lot, but I'm not sure I was all that impressed with the 7's, but we'll see...

Yes, but combined with the new home button, I can't "click" it to bypass to the pin code screen...

Why can't you press on the home button (one more time) to access the passcode entry screen? Seems to work for me if I use a non-registered finger for example.Good point. How do you access the number pad if it won't even let you click.
Safari doesn't use inertia scrolling (or basically very very little of it). Some other browsers, like Chrome for example, do (basically depending on how they are implemented by their developers). My 7 Plus arrived today, and coming from a Pixel (non XL) I'm pretty disappointed. The Pixels got its own problems (so so battery life), but its blazing fast where's the iPhone is doing poorly in terms of performance. Twitter is lagging like hell, and so is the widget screen. When I search on the App Store sometimes I cannot scroll. Generally the animations feel like they have ported classic Touch Wiz to run on top of IOS. The screen's nice, I have missed 3D Touch, and I do like the new home button, but for that money I'm going to return it. And boy Safari scrolling is sooo slow.
Tried out the regular 7 and it does not have the lag issues the 7 Plus has.
The Plus has been a problem child since the very beginning. It will be fixed with a software update most likely.

Good to know there's other like me. I appreciate pretty looking animations but after the first day, I just want my phone to do everything as fast as possibleI immediately turn off animations when on Android or jailbroken os iOS simply because I don't like them. I really wish Apple would give us that option, but I'm sure that doesn't go well with their "let's waste as much time as possible" design philosophy.![]()

People just perceive things differently. My brother's 7 Plus has the same jitter issues.Mine is also awesome in every way. You're either seeing things or your machine is not functioning as expected. Take it to a genius appointment.

I'll chime in to add to the jerkiness in scrolling in the Messages app. It's horrible.
No issues with Safari or Mail on my 7+ though.
