and i said i haven't seen one persons ship from the US.. Do you have a tracking number right now that shows it shipping from the states?
Sounds like friggin' Apple is supposed to be bringing in stock to the US to distribute to their faithful who woke up at 4am to order, but is siphoning off OUR stock to send to stores. Jerks. Or else why would "non engraved" ones coming form the US be all of a sudden delayed.
I will absolutely blow a gasket if Apple siphons off our US stock to send overseas so they don't break the overseas ship date.
try again ..I thought we be on the same path ??? I find it bid rude with todays technology not to have exact updates. Like a picture of your item in the crate perhaps in 3d dimensions I would even have paid extra for specific details.

Even though I've already called CS this post prompted me to call again. My rep said it's absolutely inaccurate that anyone can be upgraded to priority shipping, no such a thing. I said but it shows in the order status. He said it might show there but it doesn't change anything. I then asked about the non-engraved shipping from the US, being backordered, etc. He said he apologizes for what he must call wrong info. He looked up my order # and said my non-engraved iPad is shipping from overseas. Is that true? Who knows! He was only gone a few seconds when he looked up that info. He then said the usual "it's within the promised shipping time" and that he can't guarantee anything but is certain it will ship tomorrow. I don't believe a word spoken by any Apple rep. except for the one who told me he credited me for the cover because that's been verified.

Is it really a newsflash that customer service rep is BSing. It's not their jobs are ruled by scripts and mandated procedures. Lying is the way some of them avoid the stress of dealing with self entitled jerks all day. Not saying it's right, thats just how some deflect arguments. Or they hear some other CS moron drop those lying lines and they regurgitate them not knowing they are wrong.

My Black 32GB ATT just got moved into Prepared for shipment. I had ordered at 12:47 am PST on March 11.
Well my 32gb-White-Wifi that I ordered at 1:15 am PDT on launch day is still NOT YET SHIPPED. This is very frustrating.

How was the shipment originally sent via FedEx? Does the tracking say International? Or International Priority? There is a difference, and the only way to tell if these claims are true is to look at the service name. FedEx International Priority is 1-3 days depending on origin/dest.

I ordered through apple a few minutes after it came online... This is what mine says:
"International Economy Distribution"
Mine has been chillin in Alaska for far too long. I have people here in NY areas who have received theirs already and their shipments got to Alaska on the same day. I guess luck of the draw. Ordered mine at 3:45am last Friday.

Well, you did it wrong. You have to be calm, but firm and state right off that your friend who is with you was in the same situation and just called and had his shipping expedited. Technically you are right. I can be your "friend" and mine was just expedited.
