GRRRRR.. I better wake up tomorrow and either see its in the lower 48 or out for delivery lol Wow we have not lives lol.. my partner was just like hey you wanna go out and get something to eat..."NO i need to do this"

We should start seeing some more shipping updates tonight. China is 12 hours ahead of us, so for example it is 8:30 PM in the US (East coast), it is Wednesday 8:30 AM. In other words, business hours.

My iPad has been in "prepared for shipment" status for about 36 hours. I hope it doesn't make it to 48 hours and it ships tonight.

I want to make sure I'm reading this correctly before I go run laps around my house in excitement. Does this mean it that it's simply not at the facility anymore, but it could be sitting in some other warehouse/truck? Does this mean it's on a flight or getting ready to go on a flight?

I'm based around Chicago if this helps, I'm trying to figure out what flight I'm supposed to be on.

I'm in Erie, PA and, based on the time, looks like you and I are on the same flight. It looks like that flight is bound for Indianapolis, IN, which is the closest hub for both of us. There's a chance we'll both have our iPads tomorrow! :)

just got off the phone with Apple cust service.... asked about priority shipping and they said they can change it, but at this point, it won't make any difference. they're just changing it to appease people, but if your order is already out then it'll deliver by the original ship date. the priority -- according to apple -- has no effect once the order leaves the warehouse.

Someone just posted this on the other shipping thread. Apparently his shipping is now labeled "2 day" after calling CS. Mine is now labeled "2-3 day" and someone else who posted earlier is labeled "priority" after calling. I'm beginning to think these reps are just typing whatever they want in the shipping type boxes. Are there really such separate types of shipping through FedEx- one called "2 day shipping", one called "2-3 day shipping", one called "priority shipping", and one called "standard shipping"? I find that hard to believe - especially the two separate services for "2 day" and "2-3 day".

Departed FedEx location!!!!! Thank goodness. Have hope everyone else! Good luck!

Mine stuck in Alaska.

I think Apple might be re-routing certain shipments for their retail stores leaving us to suck wind for a bit longer.

Yeah, but what about if your order wasn't even prepared? Mine wasn't even prepared, so I guess it will help for me.

But It bothers me that one has left and the other still says that.... Could they be together and they just didn't' scan mine..

Are they different models? I have 2 16GB Wifi Black models, both with the same time, which means they are still in bulk

Jlak99 - hate to say this but you should probably be prepared for a Thurs delivery. If it gets to your hub tonight it will be transferred at least once more in the morning and then get to local distribution tomorrow afternoon or night. Then it gets scheduled for delivery and put on a truck if there is room. Unless your stars are all aligned just right. Otherwise Thurs is a pretty good bet. But at least it isn't sitting in anchorage anymore.
