Western PA should go through Indianapolis, not Newark or Memphis. I believe the Philly and NYC folks go through Newark.

I'm close to Philly. However I don't see why they would route an iPad destined to Florida through Newark, as much as I wish that were the case!

Apple has just redeemed themselves... got a comped smart cover since my shipment is still in Alaska and hasn't moved for 24+ hours.... too bad they're backordered and it'll be a few weeks before it arrives... still, pretty darn happy with the customer service!

Mine is still in Alaska...mine is going to the West coast more specifically California probably waiting for a flight to Oakland.
Usually delays can be attributed to customs. It's also not uncommon for packages to skip a step. I remember reading about iPhone 4's that were delivered without any update past "Arrived at Sort Facility ANCHORAGE, AK"
From what I've gathered, a lot of people had their iPad sit in alaska for at least 24 hours before moving out.

If I'm 40-ish min west of Chicago, will they fly it from Indianapolis to Chicago or drive it to my local fedex hub? It's about a 4 hr drive w/ no traffic. Wondering if it's even remotely possible to get the iPad tomorrow. The flight lands around midnight central. I know Thursday is more likely, but just looking for opinions.

Mine has done nothing except to say "ordered." I ordered it at 1:12 AM Pacific on Friday. No idea why it has made no progress. The only thing that has changed is the the credit card hold moved from the 14th to the 15th...but it hasn't been paid yet.
