Mine is scheduled for Tuesday and it was shipped on Tuesday from China, but everything I see on the tracking says it is still in HK. Yuck!My iPad is oh so very close. It just reached the sort facility in Sacramento (where I live) and it was shipped from China on Wednesday. But I called and it's still set to to reach me on Tuesday. I'm going to try and call tomorrow to see if I can pick it up from the Fedex facility.
My delivery date hasn't moved up, it's still the 22nd. But I'm sure they'll deliver it on the 21st. They delivered my camera connection kit a day early and my smart cover, too. As of 5:14pm today my iPad is in town, so looks like it'll be delivered on Monday, that's also a day early.
My cover was scheduled for the 22nd, and I got it today. My Pad is also scheduled for the 22nd, and it's flying into Oakland right now, hopefully I should have it Monday.
Me too. Jessicasi and Theory, if either of you is able to hook up the pick up option, would you mind sending a private message letting us know how? I haven't found a local number to make it happen.

Now I have a whole new fixation... watching that flight come in! lol It's all good, I can't find anything good on tv anyhow.
This ipad route makes me think my package will be available for pick-up tomorrow. Both Apple and fedex have told me they have to make one delivery attempt, considering it will be Saturday and fedex won't deliver on Saturday, I think they would have to make an exception right? If not maybe then I'll have a reason to call and haggle a free cover.

My tracking info is exactly the same.
Spent 2 days in HK and flew to AK and spent only 3.5 hours there and just shipped out!!! FEDEX 22. Tuesday Fed Ex date looks very doable now!

I don't think so. Saturday delivery does not happen for international deliveries, nobody is there to give it to you. Let us know how it goes but you'd have to be VERY lucky to score on Sat.
Was getting concerned since mine has had an In transit LANTAU ISLAND HK for 16 hours now, but it seems here just all the scanning is missing until AK. Maybe they're just trying to hurry.
I just said they didn't deliver on Saturday, does that mean it won't even make it to the local facility? Is it just going to hang out in Memphis or Atlanta before moving to Cartersville on Monday? I've never ordered an apple product that wasn't international, its never been delievered on Saturday, but its at least made it to the local shipping center.
Now I am stuck in the Lantau / Shenzhen shuffle....why the hell are we moving back and forth FedEx and Apple?

5-7 shipping day camp
I ordered at 3:39 PDT on D-day and the same thing is going on with my credit card and the iPad 2. Progress at last.
I'm in the 5-7 shipping day camp. Credit card available balance was decreased at time of order for the cover and adapter, but not the iPad. Followed the tracking and received both items yesterday. Just now noticed my card available balance decreased by the amount of the iPad. Still in "not yet shipped" mode, but there's some progress at least.
Delivery date estimate Mar 22-29.

I don't think anything happens with International shipments on Saturdays. I might have missed something but I thought you guys were going to try to snag them at your local center even before they tried and failed at one home delivery? While in theory that should be possible since it may be there, and would make sense, I don't think fed ex will allow it. I hope you are successful but it would be the first time I've seen that happen. Good luck I really hope it works!

We have the exact same model and timestamp scans. To the minute.
Well I got a macbook from china at a pickup. Maybe that was the exception to the rule.
Is this the Yahoo Fed ex Tracking showing this? The actual Fed Ex website showed this on mine too - back and forth, but the Yahoo one showed that it had departed Chek Lap Kok. The Fed Ex website didn't show a change until it landed in Memphis 14 hours later.
I called Fed Ex to see about a Saturday pick up - they told me if the delivery date wasn't until Monday, they wouldn't even unpack it until Sunday night. I don't know if that is because it is International - or if that is how they always do it? Mine came into Portland, and has just been sitting there for a few hours - doesn't even look like it went to a sort facility - it'll be interesting to see if it doesn't move until Sunday evening - I don't care anymore, as long as I see it by 10:30 on Monday!
On a Saturday? I wonder if Apple is not allowing before a deilvery attempt just for these iPad 2's? I had the option of holding my case at the local office. I bet it's because they don't want all of us obsessers to flood the local offices demanding our iPad's early...not that we would ever do that! LOL

The real, original delivery date? Or the "we'll just throw that out and make up a new one" delivery date after they leave entire pallets sitting in Alaska for days on end?
