Mine is in the same shipment as yours. At least the Yahoo has an update. The Fedex site still has mine sitting in Hong Kong. Grrrr.

I think that we are all heading to Anchorage... According to flightaware.com, FDX158 was supposed to leave at 9pm but was delayed for 1 hour. It still shows an ESTIMATED departure time of 10pm as indicated by the time being in italics. When FDX82 left, that departure time became normal not italicized.

Any suggestions for things to do with an ipad-less smart cover? Could make a nice retractable awning for my kids' toys, or maybe a placemat for dinner. I wonder if they're absorbent?

I turned mine in to a paddle and I bonk my cats on the nose with it if they are being bad... I might not even use it as a smart cover anymore.

Must be different where I live because I have never received a package from FedEx on a Monday. My order is at my local delivery location and I'm still scheduled for a Tuesday Delivery. The only time I've seen delivery on a Monday is if it is sent through Overnight Service.

Sorry for the double post I was trying to consolidate. I guess this smart cover thing would be a different post.

Back to topic-If the shipments get to Anchorage today, probably Monday before Memphis, right? They wouldn't ship on a Sunday, would they?

That scheduled day is Tuesday. I called Apple as soon as I got off the phone with FedEx and they could offer no help, but did offer a free accessory in addition to the refund that they gave me on my Smartcover. I will receive a free iPad dock in the next couple of weeks.

My frustration is that I would have gladly paid for faster shipping, but they wouldn't let me. Stupid. Hoping that Fedex doesn't really wait until Monday to open up the package...thinking that isn't possible as I know that there are a couple of others posting here that I know were in the same batch and have Monday delivery dates.

Mine finally shows as left Portland at like 7 this morning, but it hasn't scanned into the Salem office. It is obviously there, but I guess they won't check it in until tomorrow? It is scheduled for a Monday delivery. Unless there are so many Monday deliveries that your Fed Ex office can't handle to do any from the next day, I would bet you would get yours Monday.
 
if i read this right, apple is still working on shipping orders that were ordered early morning of the 11th.

I meant to say FedEx HOME operates Tues thru Sat and regular FedEx, Mon thru Friday.
 
Just went from "not yet shipped' to "prepared for shipment". At least it's a start!
