I meant to say FedEx HOME operates Tues thru Sat and regular FedEx, Mon thru Friday.

I talked to "Phillip" at Apple Customer Service this morning and he said that Fed Ex flies 7 day a week. Don't bother calling. They are curt and don't care a bit that your iPad is taking two weeks when you ordered because it said "fast shipping". I told him that fast shipping is not two weeks. Especially not when it said "ships in 3-5 days" when you order.

My shipping just updated and guess what? I am still in Lantau. It has now been sitting in Lantau from the 18th (their time) at 9:00 am till the 20th (their time) 12:21 am. No progress at all.

It looks like mine is in the same batch as a bunch of others here. Black 64GB ATT ordered at 1:27am PST.

All these "Package Stati" notices in our shipping, especially for those who leave Lantau Island only to return later, makes me think the packages are being set up for loading onto the plane. Mine is set for delivery in VA on the 23rd. So flying out tonight sometime for the next destination seems to make sense.

You both must try the tracking on smallbusiness.yahoo.com. My FedEx track is the same as yours but the other one shows me having left Japan. You are probably both about to land in Alaska in less than an hour.

The public FedEx site just does not seem to get updated as quickly as others. They know they have to let their business customers see it quicker.

I was hoping for a quick flight since I'm only part-way across the Pacific from China -- but it took the long way, via Memphis (?!).

They are indeed bffs and I sure will be doing a lot of playing around with it in class (especially labs). I'm just happy I'll have it early next week because I need to load up my lectures, I've already ditched my original iPad.
