You both must try the tracking on smallbusiness.yahoo.com. My FedEx track is the same as yours but the other one shows me having left Japan. You are probably both about to land in Alaska in less than an hour.

The public FedEx site just does not seem to get updated as quickly as others. They know they have to let their business customers see it quicker.

They are indeed bffs and I sure will be doing a lot of playing around with it in class (especially labs). I'm just happy I'll have it early next week because I need to load up my lectures, I've already ditched my original iPad.

This is my first. Everyone else in my program has one, I think, and I'm jealous. I justified this ipad for school.

Should be here on time according to Apple Customer Service. They are building the plane now and training the pilot. Mine will be personally delivered by Tom Hanks. I have named my iPad "Wilson"

The FedEx tracker is USELESS for knowing where your iPad is...it still shows my iPad in the land of Lantau Island, while since then, it's been to Taiwan, Japan, and is now almost in Anchorage. Meanwhile, the Yahoo tracker shows the real story...

Mine finally made it to the islands...

I was hoping for a quick flight since I'm only part-way across the Pacific from China -- but it took the long way, via Memphis (?!).

I ordered mine: Mar 11, 2011 at 01:04 AM PDT. White, WiFi, 64GB.

Would have ordered it earlier, but we got evacuated because of the Tsunami...

You are the second person I have seen on this forum whose Ipad got shipped out of Memphis today. My Ipad arrived at the Memphis sort facility at 12:09am this morning after it had been released for delivery. It is still sitting there. I am in LA. You would think if they shipped to Hawaii today they could have dropped off a load in LA.

Thanks for the help, but Yahoo! only reaffirms what FedEx.com has been saying. The package has been at the FedEx location on Lantau Island for over a day.

Mine too has been sitting on Lantau Island since midday on the 17th. I guess this is the result of Apple's "fast" shipping being economy instead of priority. However, it might also be that the planes are full of Apple products already and FedEx isn't willing to anger their millions of other customers by flying planes full of iPads just so us fanboys can have them quicker.

I agree ... I see no reason why mine can't make it to PA by monday, especially since FedEx has me marked Express. It says 2 day on mine, which being "shipped" (ie. Docked in China) on the 17th, that means it should be here Monday. They are making it REALLY difficult to be understanding.
