Thanks for the help, but Yahoo! only reaffirms what FedEx.com has been saying. The package has been at the FedEx location on Lantau Island for over a day.

Mine too has been sitting on Lantau Island since midday on the 17th. I guess this is the result of Apple's "fast" shipping being economy instead of priority. However, it might also be that the planes are full of Apple products already and FedEx isn't willing to anger their millions of other customers by flying planes full of iPads just so us fanboys can have them quicker.

I had called Apple earlier in the week and they claimed they had bumped my shipping to something faster than the regular shipping the rest of us who ordered on March 11 got. I guess that was bogus?

Feels good to finally have my ipad on American soil, though I consider Alaska more of an extension from Canada...

Hey even though we are far away (and usually forgotten) up here we are still part of the US.

Actually I am about 1.5 to 2 miles away from the Fed Ex facility here in Anchorage. Can't wait until my ipad finally leaves from its stay in Hong Kong. At least it won't have as far to go as most people.
