Last week though, they flew 5 flights on Thursday and 6 on Friday. It's harded to determine flight numbers on this but I think it would be FDX 94 and FDX 28.

If you're going to Oakland, Newark, Ft. Worth there is probably only 1 flight a day scheduled (if necessary they'll fly more but I wouldn't count on it now):
to Oakland - leaving around 4:45pm AKDT (FDX86)
to Newark - leaving around 3:50pm AKDT (FDX92)
to Ft. Worth - leaving around 3:45pm AKDT (FDX5092)

These are the paths that most iPad's took last week once they cleared customs in Anchorage. From reading this forum it seems like there were larger quantities being shipped last week so I'd guess it is less likely they'll add additional flights. And I'm also not sure if it will affect whether everything will go through Memphis now or they'll continue to route through the other smaller hubs (ft. worth, newark, oakland).

This path has been used previously and normally the next stop is Anchorage. I also remember there being a couple of direct flights to Memphis from Narita-Shi.

In fact a flight from there to Anchorage is enroute now due in at 11:37 AKDT

FDX 60 - if all goes well with customs you should be on the way to Memphis tonight.
 
So, I was one of the guys as of last Thrusday that was a little disappointed that my "shipment and delivery" date hadn't changed from April 1 to be delievered by April 6th. No biggie, I thought, but at the same point just wanted my iPad 2 already.

Well, got an email confirmation that it shipped on Sunday 3/27... to be delievered by April 1st... something to be excited about, right? But it get's even better.

"Mar 29, 2011 8:46 AMOn FedEx vehicle for deliverySTOCKTON, CAMar 29, 2011 7:27 AMAt local FedEx facilitySTOCKTON, CAMar 29, 2011 5:55 AMDeparted FedEx locationOAKLAND, CA" (in reverse order)

Since that early morning ship on Sunday... it has made it's way to "the" Island, to Alaska, Oakland CA, to Stockton, CA this morning where it has already been put on the truck to be delivered today...at least that's what I am thinking...

Although there was the delay in getting out... once it got out, that is an amazing turn around if you ask me (1:11am Mar 27th and in my hands at on March 29th)!

I ordered my iPad 2 (black, 32GB wifi) yesterday and I'll have it tomorrow :D

Everywhere else is talking about 3-4 weeks for shipping.

I ordered my ipad 2 16 gb Black PRSN-PDT on friday march 11th 6:38PM PDT was told shipping April 1 Del. on april 6th. checked my account March 28th at 9:30 prepared for shipping. Credit card shows pending to apple.Still as of today still no movement from Prepared for shipping. I see some people have ordered after March 11th and have received there pad already??? what is that all about. Maybe they think my name is skip. Hope to see some movement later on today. Anyone else having the same problem:(:(;)

Ordered 3/11 @ 5:22PM PDT 64GB Black ATT, no engraving.

Original date was 4/1 with delivery by 4/6 like a lot of us.

Got a surprise prepared for shipment notification on 3/26......

Didn't sit for too long and before I knew it, it was in Anchorage, AK yesterday but now no movement for 24 hours. Sill says on hold at sort facility. Was hoping for an earlier delivery than the updated 3/31. Looks like it may sit for another day and then move like crazy in order to get here by 3/31. Come on FedEx there has got to be room for one more iPad to fly out today!

You have the exact same status as me. Hopefully, our iPads will catch a flight out tonight.
 
I ordered on the 13th

The fact that people who ordered on the 11th are still waiting for theirs to ship is really disheartening :(
 
IPad2 now in Anchorage, AK

I ordered my 32 GB black wifi IPad2 at 8:05 a.m. March 11, PDT.
Last night I received word it has left Anchorage and is in transit. I live in Indiana. Maybe there is hope yet to receive it by my birthday on March 31. Smart cover and camera connection kit already received.
 
oh fun - ordered as soon as I got home on th 3/11 launch right after I put my son to bed .. thought I'd play a bit with DateParse to get an idea on how long it takes between events on the shipment tracker .. (times are all in EDT)
