Still Prepared for Shipment

I ordered my iPad 2 White 16GB WI-FI + 3G AT&T Engraved on March 15 at 10:46AM PDT. It has been at "Prepared for Shipment" since Monday at 4:00PM Central time. How long will it stay that way?

I was told by an Apple representative that means they are "making it now." I had an original ship date of April 19 and a delivery date of April 22. I had heard they were shipping sooner now and thought it would change the status however I found out that it won't change until you get your shipping email.

What is the longest anyone has been in the "Prepared for Shipment" status?:confused:

Mine said Prepared for shipment for about 3days. Mine shipped Monday and I should be recieving it tomorrow. Good luck.

i ordered on the same day as you ive been in PFS for a day and a half so far... another friend of mine ordered at the very same time i did and shis shipped 2 days ago... im not sure what is going on...

WOW. Latest order I've seen that's flipped to PTS. Though I know when I walk into an apple store on the weekends and ask "Do you have any iPads" they usually have the model you ordered, so it seems Verizon's are in less demand.

Hoping my AT&T 64gb black I ordered on the 16th goes PTS soon.

I got the email Monday at 12:30am EST.... before there was any tracking info on my ipad. Here's my tracking info so far. It says I should recieve my ipad tomorrow before 4:30pm.

Where's my iPad???

So, my FedEx order status website says my iPad arrived in Newark, NJ this morning at 2:01!!!:):D:D:D:D:D:D:D:)
I've seen some of the other posts here and the iPad left the Newark facility in less than 10 hours in most of the cases. So, it's way past 10 hours and my iPad's still there!:confused::confused::(:(
I live in the Princeton area and I am about 30 minutes to an hour away from Newark. Is it gonna arrive today????

check the tracking using yahoo instead of fedex... fedex's servers have not been updated today for some reason

Woot! Came home and checked my status and it changed to 'prepared for shipment'. As well the delivery date changed from the 22nd to the 19th.

Gotta love the info you guys have...mine has the exact same time stamps for CHECK LAP KOK so I am guessing it is on the same flight - I am hoping FedEx can get it from Memphis to the east coast in time to make the truck tomorrow morning!

Congrats! Yours is a Canadian order, right? Ordered March 25?

I guess this proves that the orders placed outside the US are in a separate queue? That's what I thought but others were saying that we were all in the same queue and that Apple is filling ALL orders in the order they are received. Obviously that's not true! Hope you get it soon! :)

I ordered March 15 at 3:53 PM PDT and have been in PFS for 2 days now. Not sure when status will change. Just trying to be patient. :confused:

Ordered 32 GB Black WiFi Engraved.

If my iPad is in Anchorage right now and I live in Denver, what route should it take and how I can find FedEx flights to that destination?.
