For what it's worth and to those wondering about 64GB WiFi models, I placed my order on the 11th at 12:57 AM PST.

I received a shipping notification on the 12th at 8:36 AM PST w/ a FedEx tracking number.

Current location as of today at 8:58 AM PST, it's at a FedEx facility on Lantau Island, HK.

Delivery date is scheduled for the 17th at 3:30 PM PST.

Strange, my order went through at 12:51am PST and I'm still in not shipped status.

DIGITAL AV ADAPTER: prepared to ship (showed up like this earlier today)
Ships 1-2 days
Red smart cover shipped with fedex tracking number same day
(Apple showed as shipped by 8am on the 11th but the fedex site still says that they haven't picked it up yet.)

Ended up just going to the att store and picking another iPad up. There was only a couple people on line so why not. Still waiting for this one though.

Just got confirmation that my DIGITAL AV ADAPTER just shipped out. Estimated arrival the 17th.

My red cover is coming from Memphis.

So now I was two accessories from my order and no iPad. Good thing I went out and got another one on day 1.

Approaching the 34th hour since I placed my order for my new beautiful white 32bg wifi/3g iPad with my name engraved and still no response. Has Appletown USA forgotten about me? Does Steve know that I'm waiting here becoming inpatient by the hour just waiting for some sort of acknowledgment!! Life is becoming so miserable as I realize there are hundreds maybe thousands of people playing with their new iPad 2 and my hands are empty. Are they (the chosen ones) downloading fun apps from the Appletown!! Are their friends sitting there in envy because they have this awesome machine. My friends are laughing at me because I chose to order online!! Why Steve Why!! I need some kind of answer now. Is my invoice sitting on the ground somewhere forgotten and Betty Appleclerk hasn't looked down to see I have been forgotten!! Breakfast didn't taste the same today and I'm sure lunch will be horrible, and I won't have an appetite for dinner until I receive my shipping notice, until then I'll close my eyes and dream of my new iPaddy (I named him already in honor of St Paddy's day) and hope we'll be together soon!!

Just been looking at Cargo Departures going out of hong kong international airport, the first Fedral Express plane going to the US says "Taipai/Memphis" under destination, i can only assume it's going from HongKong > Taipai > Memphis, and thats at 4pm in Hong Kong, the first direct flight to Memphis is at 8:05pm, with a flight about 2 hours before that going to Paris/Memphis. Personally i think they will be put on the flight direct to Memphis. A bit of googleing reveals Memphis is where Fedex's US SuperHub is located.

64GB AT&T 3G WHITE

Just showing prepared for shipment. I don't think I've seen anything AT&T 3G go out either. Oh well. I'm just excited - but unlike last year at least I have one to play with. I wish they would have done the preorder thing like they did last year. Would have made things so much nicer and easier, but they wanted those lines, and they wanted that publicity. Gawd, although last year, we never knew when the 3G's were going to arrive. They just said "late April." Annoyed the heck out of us. When did it end up being the 30th or 31st? We were all sitting here trying to define what "late" meant, and whether that was like the 20th or something, and we figured anything after the 25th would have been "end of april." hah! Oh how we are with our Apple toys.

You know what - despite having to wait for it.... I consider us all pretty lucky. Not a lot of folks have the ability to have an iPad 2, let alone an iPad 1 and all the other things we have. No... I don't think I'll be complaining too much... BUT DAMMIT APPLE HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an order with Apple too, but that was still showing April 1 ship date, so I cancelled that order. USPS has my ipad now, so it should arrive in the DC Metro area on Tuesday!

I was in the same boat yesterday. "Prepared to ship" at 10 AM, and "Shipped" at around midnight.

So took about 12 hours to change on my end. Hang in there!

Mine has been 24 hours since the smart cover has said prepared for shipment. And 60 hours since I ordered the 32GB wifi + 3G AT&T and it still says "not yet shipped". This sucks!

Where did you order from?? My tax was like $20 more and we ordered the same exact thing.

The tax thing was strange -- it depends on the state you are shipping to. Mine is going to MO. In the checkout process, it showed as 71$ estimated. In the current invoice, it is 51.43 Who knows what it will be when it ships...

Stayed up on the 11th to order my 64 gb 3g ipad + leather smart case and I still have yet to receive even an email confirmation from apple on my order! order placed at 1am pst time ---->>>The website shows my iapd case "Prepared for ship", but ipad still says "not shipped".

that's the right price because it isn't the 3G version, only WiFi
