I traded in my old 360 skyrim, diablo 3 (which I have on my xbone), and a couple of lego games and ended up picking up the new Skyrim remastered for only $35.

Target is running a buy 2 get 1 free sale this week (plus other promos that stack), so I picked up Overwatch, Battlefield 1 and Skyrim for PS4.

With all the talk about Skyrim, bought a used PS3 copy mint complete-in-box at Gamestop for $4.50 - gonna give it a try (a break from all the Sci-Fi gaming I do). You can try a used game from Gamestop for 7 days and return it for a full refund if you don't like it.

For under $5 - what the heck...

Not one, but two copies of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (with Modern Warfare Remastered).

The second copy was for a friend...who has played maybe an hour of it before switching back to Street Fighter V...but apparently his younger brother loves it for MWR...so yeah. Kind of salty about that.

It would cost you more money then the game is worth to drive to GameStop and return a $4.50 game if you didn't like it.

Not really, I pass by the one I frequent about 3-4 times/week, plus there's another one 4 blocks away from where I live. No gas really spent.

Took it back - I didn't like it - I guess I'm more into the "Diablo" type of Fantasy games.

I hate it when games try to have "a story"... ;)

I don't mind little 30sec - 1 min snippets of story (like Doom or Halo), but when I can go and take a bathroom break while the conversation is going on...

Plus, I much prefer a Plasma Blaster or Laser Gun to a Sword... :)

Just got Titanfall 2 on sale right now for $35. No longer buying games at launch for $60.

I was being flippant when I posted that. You visit GameStop 3-4 times a week? They must know you on a first name basis. I have five Gamestops in my City. It amazes me how knowledgeable some of the staff are at
Some stores, where other members at other stores are completely clueless about product releases and or games in general. I only go to the same store now, where they have consistent store staff, that actually know what they are talking about.

I "pass by" 3-4 times per week. I stop in about once or twice per week.

The one I frequent has a great manager and staff and are very, very knowledgeable.

Oh yes Metroid, enjoy!

Absolutely enjoy Metroid any way you can, but this is the correct way to truly enjoy it :D This thing still has a charge, sat in my desk for at least couple of years since I last charged them.

Oh my yes. I'm starting up Metroid Prime 1 soon, haven't played it since it launched on the GC and now I have the Wii version.

I vividly remember beating the last boss on Metroid Prime on the Game Cube while my son was playing with the baby toys right beside me. The only Metroid game I haven't play is Other M. I think my favorite though is still Super Metroid on the SNES, which I bought on my Wii U.

Oh the days with GameCube. One of my favorite consoles, next to the Dreamcast.

I spoiled myself and bought the Panasonic Q instead of the GC. Best Nintendo hybrid ever and I still have it and its box & accessories (fetching $500+ still these days).
Wow I didn't even know there's such a thing, Panasonic Q. Very cool machine  You guys remember the Panasonic 3DO? That was probably the worst $700 (or was it $800..) I've ever spent in my life, and this was like 25 years ago. I also paid big bucks on the PS1 for a Japanese import before it came out in USA. I still have it sitting in the basement. Crazy..

Looking at the EU PSN sale. Hitman for 30€ looks tempting. Dark Souls 3 with season pass for 55€ also pretty good. Or Skyrim for 30€. :)

I picked up hitman myself as they have added 4K support and it improves frame rates across the board too.

Which Hitman? Digital download or the physical disc? I was interested in the newest Hitman, but never downloaded it until all the episodes were available. I don't feel like downloading one episode at all time.

I got the 3do when they dropped the price to $400. Awesome console at the time. It had best versions of Road Rash, First Need for Speed, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Killing Time, Battlesport, Return Fire, FIFA, Samuri Shodown, and many other great games.

The console was doomed from the start though with the $700 price tag. I don't know what Trip Hawkins was thinking, and bet he's still kicking himself from leaving EA to found 3do. Still, a great system that I will always have very fond memories of.

New one via PSN sale (just buy season 1 for the whole thing).

Oh yes, now I remember why I bought the 3DO, for SSF2T. And I remember how disappointed I was with it. It stuttered pretty badly during play. I then went and bought the SNES Japanese import cartridge which played much better. Still have that cartridge somewhere in this house :)

Here's my Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul:

Re-bought Battlefield 1 ($27 amazon lightning deal) and Skyrim ($20 Best Buy with GCU discount) for cheap, and returned copies I bought a few weeks ago during Target B2G1 sale, saving quite a bit of money

Traded-in Star Wars Battlefront and Overwatch, and re-brought digitally during PSN flash sale. PSN store had additional 10% off already discounted prices. It only ended up costing me a few bucks to switch these to digital, which I find more convenient than physical for these online multiplayer only games that I play a alot.

Bought Elder Scrolls Online Gold Edition also on PSN Flash sale. I didn't care for the PvE experience on PC when I tried the beta way back when expecting it to be like Skyrim. This time I'm going into it on console for the MMO PvP experience. I have low expectations, and may not even find the time to play, but the game was cheap enough ($27) to give it a chance and not sweat it too much if it sucks.

I pre-ordered For Honor and bought an extra Dual Shock 4 controller with Remote Play PC/Mac wireless dongle at Best Buy using Visa Checkout $25 off $100 promo.

That's it. I'm all done with gaming purchases until the spring!

Did you guys score any good deals?
