PS4 Slim during the Cyber Monday Sales - it was not only on sale at Target ($249), they had 15% off any purchase (except for gift and money cards).

Off to finally try "No Mans Sky" and have my very own opinion...

;)

Life Is Strange looks interesting. Reviews are good, but I never heard of it until a few days ago. Hitman, I will purchase soon via PSN.

Get it.

It has a fantastic story and it really makes you think throughout on your decisions as they truly impact where the game goes. Much much better than any Telltale game.

The dialogue is cheesy but it is also high school kids as the main characters so it is realistic :)

I'll give it a try. Thanks Cnasty.

COD Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered. £95 through PSN download :( Just going to start it this week:D

My partner got me an 8bitdo Nintendo 64 controller, a Commodore 64, and Steep for the PS4! So I'll be playing that later :)

Ordered TLoZ Skyward Sword on Wii U eShop. Pretty good chance I won't like it because of motion controls but it's worth trying out. Used My Nintendo rewards points for 30% off making it less than half the price of even a used Wii copy.

Yeah motion controls ruined it for me. Why Nintendo forced them on us rather than offering them as merely an alternative.

With Twilight Princess I bought it on Wii at launch and just could not adapt to the silly control which felt cumbersome to me (as well as making Link right handed which is just wrong) so I went out and bought the GameCube version and had absolutely no trouble with the controls and could just enjoy the game instead.

I hope they will at some point do a Skyward Sword Remaster for the Switch and drop the wiggle ... Again like Twilight Princess remaster on Wii U.

I just bought Metal Slug Anthology online for my PS4 for 7€.

Loved that game when I was a kid. Still one of the most enjoyable and fun games out there.

Placed an order for Resident Evil 7 today for PS4, arriving tomorrow.

Not sure if it technically counts as a "purchase" though, given that it was paid for with Tesco Clubcard points alone :p

Trying to complete the Lego collection on the PS4 with all games as my 4 year old isn't at that gaming age yet but knowing in the future I am saving costs and getting in now. :)

Picked up a couple for $5 each this last sale on PSN.

No idea why but I bought Link to the Past on 3DS. I've only ever played this game on GBA and I got lost and gave up years ago, my big fat plan was to play through it on my SNES but I haven't got round to sorting my retro games den out yet. First world problems!

Finished the game. Thoughts listed below:

For $20.00, it was an interesting game. It's very linear and restricted, which isn't a negative comment, but expected. This game really is intended for more of a mature audience, aside from High schoolers playing the lead roles, which is ironic.

It's starts off strong with the story, but the game becomes very convoluted towards the end. You do have to pay attention to truly understand everything that is occurring.

The graphics are very water pastel, which I understand the developers are not working with a large budget to bring an experience that will light up my $3,000 Samsung 4K tv, but that was also expected.

The dialogue was very strong for the most part. Even though every character has blood shot eyes, as if they have been dabbling in drugs.

A lot of frivolous things with searching for random things or objects which have unnecessary/excessive dialogue that contribute nothing to the game, but I undersyand it helps the gamer to gain a rapport with the main character, Max.

The best part about the game is that you want to continue to play to see what happens next and make decisions. That's the strongest suit of the whole game and it keeps you tied in. For five chapters, the game was surprisingly long. Chapter five being the longest. For the price point, it was good. But I wouldn't pay anything above $20.00.
