X-COM Enemy Unknown Plus (PS Vita) - already played on PC and partial replay on iOS, but prefer the Vita controls to iOS and having fun replaying for the first time in a couple of years!
Tales of Heart R (PS Vita) - hadn't heard of this much before but it was on sale and the forum opinions in a couple of places are pretty solid ... it is on deck behind XCOM :)
Lego Star Wars – The Force Awakens (iPad) - I have loved the LEGO Star Wars games since the first one in 2005, but haven't connected so much with the other franchises or some of the more recent LEGO games. This one, however, I am loving this one ... and also that it has full MFi support for controllers :)

Saints Row 4 Re-elected on PS4, for $ 7.99 on US PSN sale. Combined with Gat out of Hell on Plus next month, that's a fantastic deal! :)

I picked up Fire Emblem Conquest, because it was half price of what it usually goes for. Plan is to get the Birthright missions ASAP and play through them firs, no point in completing Hard mode and going back to do Easy!
And finally Twilight Princess HD on Wii U. Playing through on Hero Mode with the ganondorf amiibo currently - it's a load of fun that way!

So so tempted to pick that up. I prefer playing SRPG games on handhelds, I was really enjoying XCOM on my PC but because I don't get to use it that often I forgot the story and never went back to it. Does it contain all the DLC released for PC? It's difficult to get a straight answer on that from searching other forums!

Picked up Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 in the Ps4 EA sale and really enjoying it. Playing solo and still tons of content to keep me occupied.

Also picked up Technomancer on PS4. It's ok. Could have been great, but it falls short in almost every area, and merely lands above average. Just..

Is GW2 that much fun over the first one?

Was wondering on Technomancer - it's already on sale on Steam for $40...

Yeah it's way better than the first. I don't think they have done a very good job marketing it and explaining the differences. It is far more fleshed out a game than either starwars battlefront or overwatch.

I foresee technomancer being $20 by Falk on steam and 1/2 price digitally on consoles

I recently bought:

• Valkyria Chronicles (PS4)
• Dishonored (PS4)
• Overwatch (PS4)

But thanks to Overwatch, it's difficult to focus on playing other games (can only play two games max at a time)

Simple answer - I don't have a full answer :). It seems that there is some but not all of the DLC present, but I have been unable to figure it out, and set it aside for a bit ... Need to go back and take a look again.

I set it aside to play "Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified" ... Ugh, what a terribly mediocre shooter and generally lousy game.

Sold my Xbox One for an Xbox One S 2TB. Reasoning? I have three tvs, and the original Xbox One can't be carried from room to room easily. Not a problem most of the time. When the lull happens at work and you want to grind in Destiny while helping the wife cook can be hard with the old console.

First world problem. I've picked up Intel Compute Sticks to try to fix the issue. That failed.

Xbox One was an ordeal carrying from room to roo. In a Sunday with everything else I move. Today moved from one floor to another with an Xbox One S, and the other stuff involved was simple. Far more then 40% smaller when you count that giant brick.

On a whim I purchased Counter Strike Global Offensive on Steam.

To say that I suck at this game would be an understatement.

I've been playing CS:S on and off for maybe 10 years and CS:GO since it was in beta back in 2011 and I'm either at the bottom of the scoresheet or near enough. But then put me infront of TF2 or HL2: DM :D
(CS games require so much skill it's just beyond me!)

The skill you need to just not be a liability is insane. Any tips for a beginner?

I ordered an Xbox One over the weekend, the original model. All along I thought I would eventually get a PS4 but so far the only "must have" exclusive game for me on PS4 is Uncharted 4. I was going to wait and see what the Nintendo NX is before buying another console but a new Metroid is pretty much the only game that would make me get the NX. Zelda BotW is coming to Wii U anyway. I'm excited to get to Halo 5, Gears 4, a couple other Xbox exclusives - ReCore looks interesting, and all the other games I've been missing out on: MGSV, DOOM!, Tomb Raider, Fallout, etc..

All I've seen was just trailers up to now but watching the first 16 min of gameplay sold me on it - plus not bad for the price of a new title...

Yeah I'm certainly interested in it, but have a sneaky suspicion as soon as I buy it, it'll be the deal of the week on xbox live gold.

Gonna buy bioshock collection on Friday ...

Re-core, I should have known, is just Tomb Raider set with ancient alien technology and a "robot dog friend".

I'm trying to stay away from running and precision jumping around/hard bosses type of games (I do have Tomb Raider in my videogame collection - I do love the old ruins, but don't play them too much).

This game doesn't seem as hard as a lot of the TR games, and the environments are beautiful. I had to turn up the brightness as many areas are too dark to see, but that made the outside areas too bright (a new technical demo for HDR XBox One S's?).

There's also some crafting involved (coming soon - I only played up to the first boss).

I guess that Sony's answer is "Horizon Zero Dawn" ($60, thanks Sony).

It is Microsoft Studios, so I'd imagine that's why it has only a cost of $40. To me, a game like this is only worth $30, which is about what I paid at Amazon Prime.

I'd bet that people will finish this in one evening (not me though - I stink at these games). Just buy a used copy at Gamestop and you can return it if you don't like it.

The biggest critism in reviews is artificial padding. Essentially they've made an 8 hour game into a 15 hour game and that mostly comes into play at the last stages of the game where it suddenly puts up an wall to progress onto end boss and asks you to go collect more prisms meaning having to essentially repeat and scour all the game levels/environments you have already visited.

Had it been confident enough to accept it was an 8 hour game, it would have actually been a more enjoyable game as the artifical padding part (rinse/repeat what you have already done) seems to really have annoyed and frustrated reviewers.

Essentially a fun 8 hour game is better than a repetitious 15 hour one that overstay it's welcome.

Kind of reminds me of the very tough classic Super Ghouls & Ghosts on the SNES. A game where once you reach the end it says 'you missed collecting this diamond' (There is no way to collect it first time round) and it throws you right back at the very start of the game and makes you replay it all the way through again if you want to get to the ending .... I never saw the ending because of that, it felt like a di€k move by developers in 1991 to pad out a game and 25 years later it still is happening in games today ....

I just went full nostalgia and bought me that Warhammer Total War game! Guess I'll buy all the DLC for it this evening as well, lol

not that I play lots of strategy games (haven't done so in the last ten years) but this looks too good, the reviews are there and I remember running into Games Workshop stores buying thes tiny but frigging expensive blisters full of tin and lots of paint (although never finishing painting one). Also, the game's done by Creative Assembly that graced this earht with Alien:Isolation so I gladly give 'em some more money, they know how to do things right!

Also saw that there is a new Space Hulk FPS coming down on us on November! Gotta convince my buddy to invest into some hardware so we can co-op this thing!! Looks absolutely beautiful too!

Just picked up Assassin's Creed Black Flag on PS4 because it was on sale. I've never really been into the games but I really love the setting and environment of the 4th game, so I'm diving in :)
