Just bought today 'Dead Island Definitive Edition' pack on PS Store. Both games. Love them.
And tomorrow I'll probably buy 'Until Dawn'. Found it on a second hand shop for 19€. Digital version is 35€.
I prefer digital, but prices are high for old games. Don't know what to do.

Aghh over Xmas and most of Jan it was €18 for PS+ sub digitally
Yeah I know!! I saw it at 25€ with the January discounts. I don't have PS+ since I don't think I will use it that much. Didn't pull the trigger because I was still debating whether to keep the PS4 or change it for the Xbox One S.
I had just bought the PS4 on the 3rd of January I think and when I found out the discs also install on the hard drive then I started having doubts whether to keep the PS4 or change to Xbox because of the external hard drive support.
Just last week with the new update with external hard drive support I decided to keep the PS4 and now I'm buying all those games I wanted.
It's a shame. I was really close to buying it.
19€ for the physical copy is good, but I just like digital so much more. I can change games so fast. I like to play multiple games on an evening.
Tony Hawk 5 is on sale for 13€ on PS4. Has this game been patched to an acceptable degree of playability?

Honestly I played it ...... and as cheap as €13 seems .... it's still expensive and it hasn't been properly patched as late (given how badly it did - i doubt there is much developer support to come patch wise).
I'm impressed by how many sales and discounts there are going on in the PS Store!Until Dawn has been part of most of the recent sales. If you can hold out a little longer, the next big sale is sure to come along.

Alien: Isolation is now 8.99€ down from 35€! And together with Until Dawn those are my two most wanted games right now. Amazing deal for Alien! Will buy that too, and maybe the Bioshock collection for 30€.
I had the first one for PS3 and loved it. Want to play the other two plus keep the first one.

Nice fun game. I like diversity and sometimes I just want to play something simple for a brief time. 12.99€ seems more fair than the 30€ it normally costs.
So I've spent 90€ total in the last month since I bought the PS4 and have gotten really good deals I think thank to the sales.
For 90€ I've bought:

- Wolfeinstein New Order and Old Blood.
- Dead Island 1&2.
- Infamous Second Son.
- Uncharted 4.
- Metal Slug Anthology.

I have recently bought a mac book air for Uni (never intended for gaming but I'm bored af). I am a new user to macs in general and wanted some advice on strategy games that I could run on mac book air.
I am looking for something like red alert, starcraft, or age of empires like I used to play as a kid..
Here are the specs:
1.6 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
a couple of games I found were warhammer, civilisations etc, but all required 1.8GHz or higher. I am assuming my machine will have trouble running these games? Any suggestions on games with my macs capabilities would be much appreciated.

I plan on playing Wolfenstein New Order on PS4 Pro. Anyone have thoughts or played this game? Any good?
I enjoyed it for a short while and then got super bored and didn't return. Much like Doom of last year.
If you enjoyed the recent Doom you will probably like it.
Yeah I got bored of Doom personally after a few hours because it was too samey for me. If anything, there is a fraction more variety in wolfenstien. I bought both old blood and new blood as they were super cheap on PSN & Live (like €7 each) and have only played maybe an hour or two of both.
For some reason I've wanted a DSi XL for months now. So I finally got one, and it's in awesome condition too. I also picked up Resident Evil 7 to play through solely on PSVR. I'm an hour in and it's outstanding - the best gaming experience I might have had! And I didn't like these kind of games before VR was an option so I'm very excited to see what VR gets me to like next

Wolfenstein was aamaaaazing from start to finish I thought! That's what made me 100% confident I'd love Doom too. But yeah... as we spoke about at the time the repetition in Doom just puts me off so so much.
I'm enjoying it a lot. I love the alternative World War 2 like scenery, with the castle and all. I play a little bit every night and it's as good as I thought before buying.
On the other hand, I also had downloaded the DOOM demo, and played a little and liked it at first, but when playing second time I got bored really easy and uninstalled the demo.
