Where are the antenna separators on the sides?

Unless Apple found some physics defying trick, the top and bottom of the casing are supposed to serve as antennas and thus should not be connected to the rest of the back.

Apple doesn't put antenna separator lines for the look of it, it's a necessity to achieve good radio reception for a phone with a metal casing.

Aftermarket places have been selling 5s chassis mods sine iPhone 6 came out that basically make the 5s look like the 6. If these rumors are true about the new 4" model, I don't see why it wouldn't look pretty similar to these mods.

This looks great, but if they are able to incorporate the antennae bands so well, what is point of the glass pieces on the back? Wouldn't it look better all just flush one color/material?

we go back to round buttons only because its a 4'? we must comply with the same design of the 5s ?

This is why i hate Apple sometimes.... Why can't they stick to one thing..... ?

If they wanna resemble the 5s, do that, why must must they go back for the same old look ? They've moved on fro that make it thin as stated like the 6, but with the 4" display..

After using a 6 for a while u feel like any older phone big big volume buttons looks something from last century. When it came in it was 'cool' but like anything, u get better, and u think the old stuff is crap.

I would still go for SE but not for the design,, i'd use my 6 more, but for smaller screen mabie.

You are machinating over design details that are already set to go. Whether you are surprised, disappointed, or confirmed, Apple will try as hard as it can to provide featuritis while minimizing battery size and memory.

Have to do that to make up for making the phone too thin. Marketing wants thin, but engineering need space, so you end up with this!

Only marketing wants THIS thin - keep the 5s thickness and give a thicker/better battery from 6s/6s plus series.

I was really excited when i heard about iPhone SE rose gold (5s design with improved specs) if iPhone 7 has the same ugly design like iPhone 6, I will have no choice but move to Galaxy Edge.. And Steve Jobs agrees with me!
I thought one of the most important things about Apple products was design

something ready to go is one thing, but i'm talking about design stage .... no one at Apple thought "we have a 6 with a slim body..... why will we wanna go back to fatter phones for ?" Where's the logic in that ? u have thin phone.. stick to them.

It's not to for more battery in, its not for anything else apart from the round volume controls, so i'm not sure why Apple needs to match how an older phone *looks* as well when we *now* have thin phones.....that can quite frankly look better, design is better and its thin.. and u slim down that extra space.

I bet Apple has a design and feature roadmap. What the other aspects are will evolve based on marketing not utility. If utility was a criterion the phones would have a lifespan of more than 4 years so they didn't need to be replaced every 2-3 years to keep up. Apple has an annuity and they will hell no give up that MF.

The numbering/lettering scheme will be dropped on all future iPhones and iPads.

Get a Samsung for the "pill" button - still do not like Apple went Android with 6.

Did you not own an iPhone before the iPhone 4? The first 3 iPhones had pill buttons.

Minimum 32GB, even 1.5GB RAM would be an improvement, A10 is assumed, several form factors, 4", 4.7", 5.5". Plus the iPad mini, iPad, iPad pro. That's a bunch of phones. Look for an emphasized IP phone app.

Give me 128gb option on this phone and it will be my next phone. My needs from a smart phone have changed drastically over the years and always needing the newest and best is not worth it for me anymore. Just give me enough space for my music on the go and I am happy.
