Received my email from Negri last night. Just sent them my IMEI number along with my order number.....
Let's see what happens.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ordered mine from him also, Super Daddy. I hope it works, did you get yours unlock from him yet, I really need to know since I ordered my unlock code from him also ok?

Just in case, the owner of the website posts his no. as (+44-7979-55-3553), the country code comes back from UK, The name of the business is: The Unlocker Shop dot com, and their customer service email: support@theunlockershop.com, so I called him but no responce. I'll keep waiting since it has only been a couple of hours since I put my order in.

"Thank you for your recent order of the Remote Unlocking Service for Any Apple iPhone (Permanent) from Negri Electronics.

We simply need your order number and the IMEI from the iPhone you wish to unlock. We will take care of the rest. Please reply to this email with the two items of information that we need to get this process started. Please note that it will take up to 24 hours to unlock your device. Once this process is completed we will send you another email with confirmation of the unlocking success. How do we do this you ask? We can not answer that question for you. Please know that this is 100% legal, and your phone will be permanently unlocked for the life of the device.

Thank you for your order from Negri Electronics.

Thank You,

Joe Ortega

As pay to unlock has been offered to overseas carriers for some time, I wonder if AT&T is considering allowing the service and third-party authorized resellers are taking advantage of this before AT&T makes the official statement?

Just a thought....

Yes, I got email about the payment from paypal at 8:49am my time and reply from the guy about my phone already unlocked at 4:31pm same day. Works like a charm, no issues so far.

Thank you for relieving my mine, for a moment I taught I had been ripped off LOL :)

I'll be patient and wait, wait, wait...wait, wait :)

Listen I called him, very nice guy by the tone of his voice and he told me the turnaround period should be 24 hrs. I'm so happy && can't wait to get my IP4 unlocked.

Looks like I'm selling my iPhone 3GS AT&T locked and looking to buy an iPhone 4 locked for cheap. Then unlock with this service and SEXY TIME! :D

All I can say at this point is that it definitely takes more than 24 hours. I'm at almost 40 hours and counting.

Yes I'm crossing my fingers. I put my order in today at 0700HRS 13, April. Oh EST ok. -5

Negri has confirmed on Twitter that they have processed the first 100 IMEI's and are currently backed up due to the demand. They also said that you are welcome to request a full refund if you feel you cannot wait.

Apparently, the next 100 will receive their confirmations tomorrow (4/14) morning.

I might buy this through cutyoursim.

Only 100 thats a long wait, I bet there are probably thousands or even hundreds of thousands of orders being put in.

I'm sure it's not that many because they claim the service will be back up tomorrow or Friday at most. This implies they're aiming to process all the existing orders by then, which at a rate of 200 a day would put it at ~600-800 orders so far.

They are offering a full refund if you can't wait and maybe want to try with a different company who isn't backlogged.

Well after saying that their second batch of 100 would be notified at approximately 4pm EDT today (4/13). Negri just updated their blog to say that nothing else would be done until tomorrow (4/14) morning. After being told that I would have an unlock in less than 24 hours when I paid on Monday night (4/11), at a minimum I will wait 60 hours, probably more. They haven't answered an email or a request form I filled out on their website requesting a status update (or even acknowledgment that all is in order). So....if I had to do it again, I might avoid Negri.

Does anyone know if the phone needs to be on a network or something? My friend has a locked iPhone 4 in India originally AT&T. Can't use it unless unlocked or I send him gevey. Any ideas if this will work?

I just got my confirmation email stating that unlocking is ready. I'm about to plug my iPhone 4 to iTunes now, wish me luck guys.

I also installed the SAM backup utility to make sure the unlock settings are saved in case Apple attempts to reverse the process at a later time :)
