Looks good! Wouldn't surprise me if Apple also had some leftover stock.
Any tips on how I could get Apple to send me a white one instead of the black one I'll be sending in when the box arrives?
anyone else find the "dont steal music" weird?

My serial number on mine isn't covered by the replacement program. I wonder if I can go to an Apple Store and get one?
Currently wading through Congress is a bill that will have deeper implications for "facilitators" of piracy, such as YouTube, Facebook and others. Basically any device or website that is a conduit for piracy may be held liable, depending on how you interpret the bill.
WTF is up with the "dont steal music" sticker...
dont tell me what to do.....
Well I hate to be a grammar Nazi here, but interrogative statements need a question mark at the end. Also, being more polite would help if they want us to interpret it as a request.
"Will you please not steal music?"
Right now it is written as a command, as blacktape242 interpreted it.
It's fascinating that, rather than objecting to being told something you already know and understand, you instead object to the notion that you can't do whatever the hell you like.
Takuya said:Yeah it's a total shame that they're replacing potentially hazardous batteries with new devices that are out of warranty. No upside to that at all.
Seriously? The only upside is that Apple is providing you with a new device that won't explode and they are giving you a cleaner newer one with the same capacity.
Entitlement..
Its small, works, and is reliable. Plus not everyone replaces their devices every year. Some of us still use devices until they stop working. Why does anyone still have this iPod?!![]()
Imagine some musician finds out that people use iPods to steal music. And he tries to take Apple to court for building iPods that people use to steal music. So Apple goes to court, and shows the judge a brand new iPod with a sticker "don't steal music"! Case closed.
