Most of the names I can think of for the renaming aren't printable herein...
The problem with Facebook is that it got so popular among my age group, the Baby Boomer generation, and they are generally not that tech savvy so that might be why. Yes, there are many other social media apps available. However, the Boomers don't care for those on the same scale as they do Facebook. You wouldn't expect Boomers to hang out in the same night clubs as Gen Z and Gen Y, so you shouldn't expect them, and Gen X too as far as that goes, to use the social media apps and services that appeal to younger generations. So for whatever weird reasons there are, the Boomers and Gen X seem to use Facebook and refuse to switch. Perhaps the younger generations can't understand this, but that is just the way it is, and therein lies the problem. In this modern age families are spread out over continents and around the globe. It is not easy keeping in touch the old fashion ways by snail mail, telephone, etc. It is fairly easy to keep in touch on social media like Facebook though. We can easily get together in groups and exchange information. Just about all of my friends and family hate Facebook, but there is no real alternative to it at the moment, so we either stay on and stay in touch, or we abandon it and lose touch. Facebook is the necessary evil we deal with in order to stay in touch and up to date with family and friends. The ZuckerTURD knows that, and he knows he can get away with just about anything because is user base is too attached and addicted to his monster creation to leave it.
