I hate to say it but I knew you guys would end up having problems with your Oleos eventually. I loved mine in the beginning too; in fact, I loved it so much that I ordered another set. Two or three weeks later it started picking up fingerprints like crazy and it became harder and harder to clean. Once that happened I returned the extra set that I had ordered and switched to PS AG. The oleos just aren't ready for primetime yet.

Chucked mine after +/- 2 weeks. The ultra crystal is working better for me. In the least its a lot easier too clean.

im thinkin of gettin the zagg just for the simple fact that they install it for you at bestbuy :(

i dont like this sgp oleophobic so im thinkin of gettin the ultra crystal but i hate installin these

I have had mine for over a month and it's still going strong.

No scratches and it wipes real easy. use my phone, put it in my pocket and the next time I go to use it, the screen is clean.

Love it, love it, love it!!!

I had my Oleophobic for almost a month and loved it, despite the fact of it being a fingerprint magnet. It came to the point where it was impossible to clean without a wet microfiber cloth and even then, it scratched extremely easy.

I've had my PS Anti-glare for about 3 days now and I'm loving it. Screen clarity is a bit sacrificed but very worth it.

I've had my Oleo for about a month and I'm seeing what others are seeing. I have to use a microfiber with Windex to clean it and then as soon as I use it, its a mess again. I will probably apply my 2nd Oleo soon and order PS antiglare for when this one starts to get nasty.

There is your mistake, windex.
You shouldn't be using windex on it, you probably destroyed the coating.

what spray can we use? please post the amazon link to one we can buy to clean the screen in general not just for this screen protector

probably anything ammonia free, think window tint safe like invisible glass etc, or monster screen clean etc

I know this sounds stupid as hell but you used the PASTE one right?!

paste or liquid both work

lol btw you're never suppose to apply wax directly. You use an applicator sponge, let it dry until it sets up (the clean wipe test) and then you remove it by wiping it off lightly with a microfiber

mind if you go thru some basic steps with me before i start? I got the wax paste =) like, what i need and how i should apply it to a brand new one (or if i should wait out til the stock olephobicness goes away)

I tried this last night with some carnuba I have. It works wonderfully well. I dont know how long the coating will last but it makes the screen slide well and I cant make it get fingerprints. I ate some fries last night at a football game and used my phone. It got greasy and I just wiped it away on my pants. It doesn't leave a residue either.

Just wanted to say, I've had my Oleo on since late July and although I love the screen protector, it seems to be picking up smudges and fingerprints like crazy. Should've called it the Oleophilic!

I've got some of the Ultra Fine beta testing SPs to use, but I reckon I'll put them on when this starts to pick up some major scratches or the smudginess gets too out of hand.

About the car wax method, I've got some Turtlewax which I applied a while ago. Worked great, but the only thing is when I buff it off it leaves white residue marks in the crevices and sides of my phone :(

I really like mine. I have had it for a month and a half now and while its super clear and slick to the finger the smudges are extremely hard to get off. I've had Zagg and Wrapsol and they wiped away much easier. Also it has only been 1.5 months and the film has scratches all over it. I might give the PS anti glare a try and see how I like it and if i can handle the decreased screen quality.

I was about to cave in to get a Steinheil screen protector.... I'm glad I waited for PowerSupport based on what I'm reading here

PowerSupport is just another class of it's own.

Is the Crystal exactly like PS's Crystal protector?

i had mine for a month now. can't be happier with it. No one could tell I had screen protector on. I do find it impossible to clean by wiping on my clothes lol... but glass cleaning cloth will do a fine job. I also use slightly dampened paper towel to clean it once a day. it's always shiny like new afterwards.
