Anyone else have high res pics of the ultra oleophobic installed on their iP4? I'd like to see some more.

I'm sure over then next few days you will be seeing some more. The OP's review was very nice and helped push a few people over the edge to buy some :)

No pics from me, but I will say you can't see that it is on there except where I did not get it perfectly aligned with the home button. I even compared it to my roommates naked screen and you can not tell a difference in picture quality.

This film is absolutely amazing. It's the best one I've ever had on any device. I almost wanna say it's clearer than the screen itself. My only gripe is that the cutouts are so precise, installation is a little difficult to get perfect. Like others have said, it isn't resistant to smudges but it does seem to exhibit less of it and definitely wipes off much easier than anything else around.

Got my Oleophobic set today (after ordering one from ebay on Monday) and wow!! This thing is AMAZING! Installation was a piece of cake and there were no residual bubbles or dust whatsoever. That surprised me considering I somehow manage to always **** up when installing screen protectors. With this set, I was successful on my FIRST attempt lol.

But yeah, as many others have stated here, the retina display is not hindered one bit. You can barely tell that it's even on. It doesn't have a camera cut out, but there's no decrease in quality anyway so it doesn't matter to me. A+ in my book. I only wish they made one for the back, too.

good to hear  Thanks

I just got my SGP Oleophobics today and I'm a little bummed that there is no cutout for the front camera (the ebay seller I ordered from twice told me that there was but that's a different story). Anyway, I can't put one on yet because I have to wait for my replacement phone to come on Monday but I noticed that it looks like the protector itself is actually sandwiched between two protective films. Is that correct? You have to peel the one labeled adhesive first and apply it to the phone and then once that's applied you peel off the film that is covering the oleophobic side? The reason I ask is because there is some type of glue on one side of mine and I want to make sure that it's just on the protective film and not the actual screen protector.

That is correct. It's sandwiched between two films. This took me a while to figure out as well. IIRC, the yellow tab is the adhesive side.

Anyone know of the company probably putting out a back piece as well because it seems like they're not offering it at this point.

No clue. I've emailed them several times asking them that same question and have yet to receive a response. That's my only big gripe with SGP, they have terrible/non-existent customer service....such a shame cause they put out such a great product.

Here are a couple pics for people wanting them. Sorry they aren't great but I can honestly say that it's hard to tell there's a screen protector on there. I mucked up the right side in a couple small places and it's a little off-center around the home button but overall I'm very happy with the product.

more pics

just wanted to share my experience with this film. thanks OP for putting up the review, convinced me to get it. the film does indeed come sandwiched in between 2 covers. the first (brilliantly labeled #1) u take off so u can apply the film to phone, then #2 you take off after you get it in place.

the phone side is a little sticky so be sure lint floating around doesn't get stuck on that side, otherwise you'll be using tape to get it off. the holes for the home button and earpiece are cut pretty tight so be sure to get good line up. the included squeegee was helpful in pushing out all air bubbles and even imperfections that were not large enough to be air bubbles. properly applied, you shouldn't see any spots, bubbles, etc.

after i first put it on, i found the surface to be a lot more resistive than i had hoped. it was almost difficult to push my finger around, i thought perhaps i had applied it on the wrong side. but the "stickiness" wears off after a couple hours and now, it's fine, can move finger around smoothly.

overall, very happy, great product.

thank you all for the great pics and review.
i ordered the full body crystal but quickly added an oleophobic based on this thread for the front screen

Nice installation fongyuen. Looks like a quality product.

Mind sharing that wallpaper btw? Thanks :)

I dropped my phone with a Ultra Crystal which chipped the protector, so decided to give a the Oleophobic one a try. A few things:

-The cut doesn't seem as good as the Ultra Crystal I had installed. It was noticeably harder to line up, thus me spending more time on getting dust from under the film. I still got have some specs that I simply gave up on because they were barely noticeable, especially in regular use.

-While the film doesn't look like it's there, my screen seems to not seem nearly as sharp as it used to be. It doesn't suddenly seem low res, but it looks like the edges are a tad softer? It's also thinner than the Ultra Crystal, just like SGP says. With my Ultra Crystals, I've got several scratches just from doing things like setting it down.

Otherwise this is an excellent item. I only wish they made one for the back, because even after washing my hands, the back gets covered in fingerprints instantly. I can't wait to see how the Power Support compares. One thing though, which isn't an issue with this screen protector, but in general with the static cling films, is that the back pieces seem to be a bad choice of film. They're slippery and scratch really easily. I'm thinking of getting something like a BSE for the back.

Your pictures look great. I ordered a set of the oleophobic and both screens were damaged. The cutouts were still in tact for the home button and earpiece. This left faint lines around both once installed.

I want more of these be I prefer them to the wet applications but am worried about the quality control. Maybe I just had bad luck?

Question about installation:
I installed yesterday by peeling 1/2 of the back film down, lining up the earpiece and top, then laying down removing the back film as I went.
After I got all the air bubbles out, I removed the top film.
Now, the home button is covered by the film and feels more stiff. Also, when I press on the home button, I can see air bubbles form around it, but can work them out after releasing the button. Is there a separate piece for the home button that may not have released from the top film properly? Not sure if I did something wrong...

Actually, the films come with the home button and ear piece perforated but still intact. U have to remove them before/as u install it. I started with air bubbles near those two areas as well but just kept pushing them out with the squeegee/finger and they eventually went away. Good luck.

Yah, I actually messed up my 1st one because I didn't realize they were still there.

I actually found doing this as a wet install worked better for me than doing it dry. It allowed me to shift it around and get the holes all lined up.

So now that my home button is covered up, any ideas?
I don't want to lift it since it's a perfect install without any dust, but I don't know how to separate the film over the home button from the main film

I forgot to take off the home button and earpiece plastic on my first one too. Just keep picking at it with your fingernail.
