Just because you don't like a game doesn't mean you can ignore it in this case, buddy :p

We have the aforementioned Civilization and Total War games, plus Mad Max. Feral also released Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens last June (or July, one of them).

And X-Com 2!

Not sure what you mean. I'm not dismissing them, I asked what AAA game apart from Civ 6 Aspyr have released in the last 7 months.
Similar question about Feral.
You mention the 2 or 3 games I already mentioned. If you feel happy with that level of release then I'm happy for you.
XCOM 2 was a lot earlier.

I've been playing alotta Sims 4 lately. At this point I might just have to get it on PS4. The reason I wanted it for iMac is because I only have a 720p tv and I wouldn't be doing myself justice for playing it that low lol. A dude on Craigslist is selling on for 30 practically brand new. Might have to scooper her up...

It's not on PS4.

How does this game run on bootcamp? I might just bite the bullet and do it. While I have ps4 and I can get it on there, I also still have a 720p tv. I don't know which is a better option....

Bootcamp is native Windows, so any game performance is down to your hardware. In my case, it played like a dream using DX12 @1440p at high settings. (Using bootcampdrivers.com AMD Crimson drivers, of course)

If you have PS4 then definitely go with that. It certainly has additional content to the Xbox version, I din't know if the PC version has that.

Come on, there have been lots of big releases lately:
  • The Witness last week
  • Torment: Tides of Numenera in February (plus Night in the Woods, which is a big indie)
  • Owlboy in January (another big indie)
  • Dying Light Enhanced Edition in December
  • Tyranny, Headlander and FM 2017 in November
  • Civ 6, Mad Max and Aragami in October
  • Rocket League and Dawn of War 2 in September
Even if you don't like strategy games, this list is nothing to sneeze at.

Plus, because of Metal's missing features (which, once they're solved, won't be a problem anymore), Deus Ex, Hitman and Dirt Rally are late, but still coming.

No. But with the recent release of Metal games, I believe that macOS is technically ready for this game. I'm inclined to think that Feral would be glad to port it, but who knows what is negotiated behind the scene.

I don't play games generally. Tomb Raider is the only game that I like and the only one that i have played in my computer (together with oni many years ago if anyone remembers it). I really hope that it will be ported to Mac.

Hopefully with the announcement of the iMac Pro hopefully devs will make the next TR game for it as well. I've just started playing Cities Skylines. I would check it out if you guys are into that kinda stuff.

I'm glad I found this thread. Finally got around to getting Tomb Raider (replaced the laptop, gotten a few "newer" games) and it has been one of the best games I have played in years. I cannot wait until the Rise of the Tomb Raider makes it over to the Mac!

I am trying to ensure that I don't go into withdrawal, so instead of finishing TR right now (almost done) I am going back and making sure all the maps are 100% complete :p

This year is going to feel long.
