These conspiracy theories are crazy. Once again... Apple paid for slow shipping. Other orders take precedent. Surprised none of you have experience with slow shipping before.

Okay so this is my last and final theory.

Most of us have a Sept. 23rd delivery date on our apple shipment e-mail, apple does NOT want to miss this date, because at that point the phone is late. Yes, we were told October 4th at first but then we were told a new delivery date and thats the one they have to stick to.

In my opinion anyone with a Sept 23rd date will have their phones tomorrow. There is still so much time (for those in Korea) to get here and get ready for tomorrow. We were told the 23rd in the e-mail and thats the date theyll stick too.

HOWEVER, if we do not have our phones by the date in the e-mail, GET THE PITCHFORKS READY.

Worst part is I coulda got a matte black at store last weekend but my order was already moving along n figured I'd have mine no later than Friday ,don't see that happening now,and of course all I've seen available are rose gold n gold ,horrible ,good thing we stayed up for the stroke of midnight to preorder

Where is your phone? China? Korea?

Happy to say I got my shipping email last night 1:52am EDT. Here are my details for others who want to compare:

Confirmation email 9/9 at XX:14

PFS on 9/17

Last UPS Tracking info:

I hope that whatever was going on with shipments over the past few days is sorted out and my phone catches a flight soon.

Wrong, Apple reps specifically state it has the fastest shipping possible for the devices (How else do people get Launch day phones that ship 3 days prior?). I also don't believe Apple if forcing delivery date arrivals by holding the packages, it just seems too silly.

It's definitely not the fastest international shipping method ups has. Look it up ;-)

Using the iStockNow website, I found an iPhone 7+ 128gb mb for ATT at an Apple store about 40 minutes from me. I canceled my order so you all stuck in processing should be bumped up 1. Wish you all the best.

There are a ton iPhone 7 Plus, 128GB phones for AT&T available in the stores ... if you want gold/rose gold. Nary one in black/jet black.

At least there were last night at midnight.

Actually... no, none of us "knew" it would be an October delivery. The online ordering process was a train wreck, the majority of folks being unable to actually order until 10-20 minutes after the the posted time for the beginning of orders being accepted.

Anticipating high volume, I had two iOS devices using the Apple Store app and two computers attempting to order via web browsers. All were unable to access the ordering process until 12 minutes AFTER 12pm PST. By then the order delivery date slipped to October. So again no I did not "know" going in, that October would be the delivery date.

So couple that experience with then being informed the package would arrive earlier than projected. There have been a number of package thefts in my neighborhood, so tracking when it will actually arrive is important. I do have flexibility around being home to meet the package, but most folks on this Forum do not.

Okay, the individual makes arrangements based on what UPS is telling that person... then..... it changes. Then... it changes again. Then...... no date. But....., trust the date Apple gave, even though UPS has no date.

You get the picture?

Weird. I "knew" that my order would have an October delivery the whole time. I wasn't able to order until almost 6 hours after ordering started and I still knew it was an October delivery. You may have not known in going in, as in when you first tried to order, but you 'knew' when you pushed the button to complete the order. You knew a day after your order was complete and have know every day since until a few days ago when the orders were pushed up.
