Again you are wrong. The 4/10-10/10 date no longer matters once the package ships and that date is not pulled from UPS tracking if it did mine for example would have said 9/21 and the. 9/22. But no it has said 9/23 since my package shipped.

Exactly! I am not debating the date Apple promised. I'm mad at the date UPS promised! Shipped on 9/19 and has been in a holding pattern ever since. UPS is failing miserably!

ThAt was the tracking info Apple last got... they have nothing to update it with... that is still tracking... your order states 4-10.... and honestly it's not even the 23erd yet so UPS still has not broken their promos... all though they are likely to... that date will change when Apple gets updated info from UPS...

Go ahead and try to get some compensation from Apple before 0ct 10 and see what they tell you... I'll let them piss on your leg.
You are delusional. Period. APPLE sent me the email and not UPS. APPLE said 23, UPS originally said 21.

I'm frankly done arguing with your simple mind.

Look I'm not going to keep arguing with you but when this happened with my last MBP and they missed my delivery date that was given once my laptop shipped they offered me a $100 gift card

So Best Buy gave out 100 dollar gift cards for missed pre orders, kind of crappy Apple doesn't do the same.

On another note, kind of irritated that my card has been charged and I still yet to have a phone in my hand.

The top one is UPS tracking info... it's what UPS promised... yes UPS is late on their promise.

The bottom is what Apple promised. They are not late on what they promised.

Wrong. The top one is the date apple gave. It hasnt changed. If it was showing the ups date then that date for me wouldve shown wednesday and then changed to thursday and now unavailable. Apple posted that date and people make plans around dates they are told things will happen or arrive. It doesnt matter if its a ups screw up, we didnt hire ups, apple contracted them. So when ups screws up apple answers for it (in whatever way they see fit, probably just an "our bad").

Nope! UPS had me set for 9/21,
Apple app always had 9/23.
Then 9/23-9/27 on next screen. I'm going with 9/23!! :p

Agreed!!!! UPS actually originally quoted me today 22nd, then changed to 23rd. Apple had the 23rd all along! We'll see what happens!

Either way, if anyone is going to do anything to make it right it would end up being Apple. They give us a gift card or a case and then we "forgive" them and they can say their customer sat stayed high. They would then turnaround and have UPS reimburse them for these losses for their mistake.

Alright so safe to say no phones tomorrow.

Nope - not safe to say that. Not to give anyone false hope, but it is entirely possible that our phones will still arrive in the States today and be delivered tomorrow. The international online tracking information at the container stage is just not reliable because it isn't updated realtime and is largely an automated process that may or may not be accurate due to whatever systems or algorithms are running and the degree of synchronicity between the same. Nor is the information being provided by the cserv agents because. . .well. . .because they're cserv agents. I've had packages delivered in the past that UPS tracking showed as still being in transit.

Posted this earlier but I just called UPS. The reason I have this exception is my access point couldn't take the delivery! Its here! I have to go to the customer center tomorrow to pick it up! I asked the rep multiple times "the tracking shows it still in Korea, you are positive its here?" and she said "absolutely!" I will be heading there around 8am but I am not getting my hopes up, the way this has gone I wouldn't be surprised if its not there.

Only problem with that is the only flight out of Incheon today was cancelled. Lol. Hope I'm wrong, but....

Still no movement on my 7+ 128gb black (ATT)
I've been in processing for 13 almost 14 days now. CC not charged, nothing. Just sitting there exactly the way it was on 9/9.
I have a delivery date of 9/30-10/6 and although I'd have put money on a date change, early delivery, PFS (especially 14 days in!!). ANYTHING. But I have little hope now. I mean..... even people who ordered DAYS after me have shipping info or are playing with their phones as I write this.
I'm so discouraged now. My wife is picking hers up at UPS today. I feel like I should be able to do something... speak to someone. But i don't know that anything will help. Worst preorder I have ever weathered. I had to stop reading the Apple Store order thread because there are hundreds of pages of people talking about plane tracking, shipping estimates, delivery dates and so on...
What about those in processing STILL? I could see if I had ordered very late in the launch.... but I ordered 2am 9/9!
Come. On. Apple.

You are totally missing the point.... regardless of when and how Apple updates dates it... that is shipping / tracking info that they got from UPS.... they have no obligation regarding what UPS say.. the date on your order and on your receipt is 4-10... nothing else is going to hold up aging Apple... you can blame UPS all you want until oct 10th though. :) Apple shipped it out plenty early they are not to blame that you are only going to get it 14-16 days ahead of their max deadline instead of 18 days.... you have a really poor argument against Apple... they have nothing to do with this... try blaming UPS.... if you don't have it tomarrow.

Mine shows the same and I was told the exact opposite, that its still in Korea...

Pssst....there were no flights from Korea to Alaska today. The phones are all sitting in Korea still...it's impossible to get them here in time for delivery tomorrow. There just isn't enough time in the day for that to happen.

What needs to be made right though? They said oct 4-10 you are going to get it sep 23-26... even with UPS screwing up Apple shipped it so early that you are still going to get it early.... and you think they need to make somthing right.... seriously..

Yes UPS is incompetent and it sucks... but you will still get it early... the entitlement society drives me nuts sometimes.

Just got my first shipping notice at 4pm from Apple. My phone is shipping today from Rialto, CA with FedEx. Should get it Monday.

It is Apple's logo on the message they sent stating that my phone would be delivered by the 23rd, not UPS's. They will be the ones to take care of it because it is their reputation on the line. They are the ones who will have to deal with whatever bad PR (probably none) and complaining (a lot) comes from this. Behind the scenes...totally different. UPS could be at fault and have to make concessions.

This is getting a bit out of hand. I understand completely how bad you guys feel and if I were in your position I would be pissed off as well. Most of the oct 4-10 people got shipped 1 day before me and their phones are still stuck in Korea while mine has made to California somehow. I am also encountering the mechanical failure excuse they been throwing out to all of you state side.

All I hope at this point is for our phone to make it to us tomorrow if not Monday (though it would suck to sit through another weekend).
