When did it say 26th?
Until this morning. I then saw this article and checked and mine had changed as well.
When did it say 26th?

My iPhone 7 Plus is doing the same. I ordered it at launch and was backed up till October for delivery, so I expected a late delivery and I'm being patient. I got shipping notification on Monday that it would arrive today, and now it appears to be (or was at some point checked) in Korea and the shipping status has now switched to "! Delay" with an update that "a mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible."
I dunno...maybe next week?

The most recent flight that was supposed to leave on 9/22 at 9:55 PM Korean local time has not left yet, or at least doesn't show it has left. It's currently 9/23 8:13 AM as I write this so about 10 1/2 hours with no record of it leaving, so mechanical or weather (depending on which tracking number you check, mine says weather) could potentially be legitimate.
An increasing number of customers who ordered the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus have noticed irregular movement on their shipments, as confirmed by multiple tipsters who have contacted us. The peculiar UPS tracking information has also been documented by several Twitter and Reddit users.

MacRumors reader Daniel G., for example, has seemingly seen his iPhone 7 Plus order move between Shanghai, China and Anchorage, Alaska, only to end up back in China. The shipment even made a brief stop in Osaka, Japan, before heading to Louisville, Kentucky en route to Long Island City in Queens.Other MacRumors readers said likewise in discussion topics titled "My iPhone is on a travel adventure" and "Waiting for UPS."
Reddit user AlphaAnger, too, shared a nearly identical scenario:Twitter user Minton, who shared the UPS tracking information pictured above, has seen his iPhone order travel from Zhengzhou, China to Incheon, South Korea to Louisville, Kentucky, at which point it was seemingly sent back to Hong Kong. The entire movement took place within a span of just three days.
Minton is not alone, as several Twitter users have noticed similarly irregular movement on their iPhone orders this week.
In some cases, shipments have moved between the U.S. and Asia in only a few hours, which is unrealistic even when accounting for time zone differences. UPS has allegedly told some customers the irregular movement is related to paperwork, but weather and mechanical issues could also be involved.
Whatever the underlying reason may be, the issue appears to be slowing down iPhone deliveries for at least some customers in the United States. Some customers on Twitter have complained that their new iPhone is "stuck in Korea," while others have vented their frustrations towards UPS's customer service account.

I have the same delay, and I just spoke with chat support. I was told that severe weather was delaying the shipment. I pointed out that the severe weather had just appeared on the UPS shipping page and didn't explain the fact that it was sitting for two days in the same location as well as the forecast for Korea indicates no severe weather. I was told that it was for the safety of their employees. I understand delays, but I don't appreciate being lied to. Sigh...
I'm experiencing exactly this. Except now there has been multiple delays. Was supposed to be delivered today, but as of yesterday morning it still hadn't left Asia, so I knew something was up. It was delayed until tomorrow, but now there is no delivery date at all.View attachment 657160
I just tweeted this to UPS...
"iPhone 7+ shipment delayed for days in Korea due to “severe whether” - its mostly sunny there with 0% precipitation. What’s up @UPS?"
and got this reply across 5 tweets from @UPSHELP within a few seconds...
"We apologize for this scan. Your package have not been delayed. Upon,...
further scans our system will self-correct and provide a Scheduled Delivery Date.
At this time, the actual scheduled delivery date is not known until the
shipments actually arrive in the U.S. We encourage you to utilize Notify me with Updates on

My tracking keeps bouncing back and fourth as well. My phone was supposed to be delivered yesterday but now it's stuck in Korea.
Ordered the series 2 Watch from Apple on the 9th was told it should ship the 1st week of October. Get a email says that it shipped Sep. 20 and I should receive it by Sep. 23,well now its delayed in China somewhere due to weather. Maybe I will get it in the 1st week of October as I was told at first by Apple. It seems they at Apple don't give Rats Ass about your shipment just as long they got your money.....
Apple said mine would be delivered no later than the 23rd, UPS had an estimated delivery date for the 21st, then 22nd, and now no info available. I got the severe weather delay notification, but looks like its just departed from Korea.View attachment 657581
