"Rose Gold" Doubters

The thing about anodized aluminum is it can look very different depending on the lighting conditions. That's true of every color they make. The Space Grey Macbook sometimes looks light grey, sometimes dark, and sometimes looks down right black. The truth is in certain light the phone will look pink, or the more red color in some of the promo photos, and in other times more of a peach gold.
even more so, why is your phone out in the board room?
Mine just arrived. It's got a slight texture so it's not clear plastic. Sort of a frosted effect but not quite that opaque. It's not going to offer any drop protection from what I can see. It's for scratch protection only. It's pretty.Try this one....

I have dropped my phone a couple times in the case I have that's just like this and you can't even tell--on the phone or the case. Here's hoping that trend continues. Mine will be here tomorrow.
Lol! Yep it might sound old fashion to you but when the top people meet at my company us old fashioned people still call it a board meeting. Our company is pretty successful for being so out of date, not one of our employees still live in their parents basement. Us Old people think living in one's parents basement or a nest in a tree is funny! I think you problem is where you live, we laugh at you every time we here what your city and state are up to next! We do understand why the rose pink color might be very popular where you live!

That does look better. I'm not sure why Apple made their rose gold aluminum more pink than copper. It's artificially colored and easily controlled. The real rose gold on the Edition AW models isn't even on the pink side.

I almost bough this phone until I saw it in person. I thought the color was gaudy and brash.
I was worried that the Apple one would be like this one but I really like the way the Apple rose gold looks on the Apple watch with the stone band. I hope I am not disappointed.

And black front on the gold and rose gold models please. I'd be willing to put up with the pinkish tone of rose gold aluminum if it had a black front, but not pink/white as it's too feminine for my taste.
I'm sure the other board members have far more to worry about than the colour of your phone.

We are not that old fashioned. We gave up the tie and suit coats several years ago and even being from the South, we do still wear shoes. I love my NB998!
