x86 will never go away !! She keeps changing !! She showed that pure RISC architecture is wrong !! Only hybrid Itel processors based on RISC and CISC are the future !!!
Except there is no such thing as a hybrid processor. The “CISC is really just a wrapper around RISC” thing is a fiction that people who have never read Hennessy and Patterson like to throw around on tech forums to make themselves feel better about the terrible Intel architecture. But that’s not how it works. Microcode does not make a processor a RISC processor. The presence of microcode is how you know that a processor is a CISC processor.

It's just your imagination!! Windows RTM is not so popular on ARM based

Windows RT has been dead for years. Windows 10 on ARM is a compeltely different OS. You act like you know everything, but you're really just a blowhard who throws out claims without any facts to back them up. In fact, you remind me of an unusually orange man with an extremely bad combover.

Wong!! 80-90 procent software and professionl software writing for Intel platform!!

You're the one who's wrong.

The actual percentages are about 13% x86 apps rather than 80-90%:

Android: 2.56 million apps
iOS: 1.847 million apps
Windows Store: 669,000 apps
Amazon App Store: 489,000 apps

So you're talking 4.896 million apps for ARM-based processors compared to less than 700K for x86. That's a 7:1 ratio in favor of ARM.

You're talking absolute nonsense!!!! Windows OS and other operating systems only supports x86 architecture!!! 95% in profesiional words supporting x86 architecture!!!

Really? Only x86 and not ARM?

Windows RT has been dead for years. Windows 10 on ARM is a compeltely different OS.

Not really. Windows RT was called Windows on ARM in early builds, and was Windows NT 6.2 (a.k.a. Windows 8) running on ARM. Today's Windows on ARM is Windows NT 10.0 running on ARM. It moves ARM from 32-bit to 64-bit, adds the x86-32 emulator, and eases restrictions on Win32 code, but it's not a "completely different" thing at all. It's Windows 10 on ARM rather than x86, just like Windows RT was Windows 8 on ARM rather than x86.

Dear Mr. Tim Cook I beg you on my knees to stop and stop the
transition to the ARM immediately PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Please leave
the Apple immediately !!!! I’am games developer for Mac OS and
Windows(BootCamp) and I need and a lot of developers need the Intel
processors on Professions Mac’s, because a lot of game engines and
professional software are compiled for Intel processors!!!!!! (Unreal
Engine 5(Intel-Mac OS X), DECIMA(Windows-BootCamp),
FrostByte(Windows-BootCamp), DUNA(Windows-BootCamp),
IDTech(Windows-BootCamp), Sony Vegas Pro(Windows-BootCamp),
Combustion(Windows-BootCamp), 3D StudioMax(Windows-BootCamp),
Houdini(Intel-Mac OS X) etc. Dear Tim Cook I beg in you on my knees i
beg in you please, please!!! Staying professionals Mac’s(Mac Pro,
iMacPro, MacBookPro) on only and only Intel processors!!! Because I
love testing playing the special AAA classes for Windows OS games, on
Intel-Based Mac Pro with BootCamp!!!!!!! Intel processors are the
God of processors for developers and for me!!!!!! Dear Mr. Tim
Cook. Death Stranding video game(BootCamp-Windows) looks amazing and
has an extreme performance on MacPro 7.1 with Intel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Intel processors are God of processors for the games developers and
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

x86 will never go away !! She keeps changing !! She showed that pure RISC architecture is wrong !! Only hybrid Itel processors based on RISC and CISC are the future !!! Steve Jobs is a genius and remember why he switched to x86 processors from PowerPC

Well, lets see if ARM succeeds.

Correct. In fact, I think there’s actually something slightly evil about anyone who advocates for x86. It’s suspicious. It makes me wonder what other character flaws such people possess.

I mean, let’s think about it.

You start with the Intel 4004. It was made to be used as a calculator. Then you go to the 8008, which was meant to be used in simple microcontrollers. 8080 inherited all the bad design decisions from those two chips. 8086 added more memory support (which, of course, being CISC, and given the time period, was not designed with thought of caching, virtual memory, and modern memory hierarchy thoughts in mind).

80186 - complete and utter failure.
80286 - all the same bad design decisions are still there.
80386 - first real improvements (most with respect to addressing), but still has all that baggage.
80486 - yep, more of the same.
80586 - ditto. CHange the name!
x86-64 - 64 bit. The guy who first designed the integer 64bit extensions is a genius, but the rest of it? Yuck! ;-)
Meanwhile Intel is off with Merced/Itanium, which was another disaster.

Yeah, its awful.

I agree.. Intel CISC is horrible. Though, I may say that I liked for a short time in 1999 the Pentium III.

It is evident that you do not understand what!!:p:p:cool::cool::cool:

Firstly it is a lie. And secondly, I mean the application for PC and Mac!! I create AAA grade games for PC and Mac !! Software for creating great games as the games themselves for Mac and PC !! Android application has nothing to do with it !! Professional and gaming applications that are on Mac and PC is not for ARM processors!!:cool:

Linux does not count!! Linux has a small market compared to Windows and Mac OS:cool::cool:
windows does not count. Windows has a small market compared to android.

Android: 54%
ios: 12%
windows: 11.5%

These numbers are from 2015. It’s only gotten worse for windows since.

Windows is a very unimportant operating system, that runs on an inferior CPU architecture that does not sell very well.

I'm talking about games and professional applications for creating games!!! What does Android here !! Android installed on smartphones and tablets generally!!:cool::cool:

P.S. I beg your pardon, but not professionals gathered here !! And computer technology understands nothing.

I have already presented evidence!!:cool::cool:

No you have not...

Also, what about the below, where you said Windows only supports x86, but I linked to Microsoft's own website with their Windows on ARM documentation? Fancy admitting you were incorrect?

Really? Only x86 and not ARM?

Your last sentence makes it all very clear.
