Is it just me or in the photo dont the two images(i guess they are slide type images) on either side of the Apple logo slide image in the center...well the side images...the overlap over the pilers...isnt that kind of odd...then again it could just be me.

LoopRumors Update....

Now on LoopRumors:

In a follow-up email:

I have verbal confirmation that it's Jobs speaking here today via satellite.

We'll keep you posted...

What conference?

One rather funny thing though--there doesn't appear to be such a conference. Search for Intel Sales & Marketing Conference and Google and Intel.com turns up nothing.

Me too, I was searching, nada.

unless 'Marketing' Likes keeping secret I saw BS, but it is a decent fake.

That Apple logo on the stage....

it looks a lot like a picture taken of the back of a Titanium laptop, and photoshopped to the Intell stage

the Flaky Titanium paint looks similar to my Ti

also, the thin black circle around the Apple logo looks a bit cartoonish

I hope its real - but I'm voting that its fake

One last thing-

the light reflection ovals on the stage (they're white and purple in color) are not reflecting off of the Apple logo......and that's odd if its real

I have to admit though...

From a marketing standpoint and a strategic business standpoint...

OS X on Intel would be the beginning of the end of Microsoft (or atleast their dominance).

lights

In case you missed my post on the last page, it appears that the test pattern screen and Apple logo screen have strings holding them up, which would explain the lights being behind the screens, not reflecting off, etc.

enoch

I'm not an idiot - I obviously saw the strings holding the other two screens

there are no strings holding the Apple logo because its built into the wall, so therefore there ought to be reflections upon it

When announcing you are not an idiot, it helps to be correct.

There are cables supporting the 'screen' featuring the Apple logo, just as clear as day:

It would appear there ARE strings on the Apple logo...

that Apple logo is obviously a picture off a Titanium laptop

just like all the Apple logos in jobs' keynotes, right? just putting my 2 cents cause i really don't think this is fake

but i really would like an update from looprumors or the guy that sent the photo to looprumors.. geez, if only everything was broadcasted on apple's website we wouldn't be in the dark like this...

tick, tick, tick.........

I can see with my own two eyes that the Apple logo was put on that picture with Photoshop. Look at the edge of the circle, you can see the pixels well. Look anywhere else in the picture, you can't.

Somebody's having a good laugh at LoopRumors's expense right now.

I dont know if the story is real or not, but if the picture is a fake the people who made it did a VERY good job of making it look convincing.

You can see the pixels on the other hanging things, it was just a bad camera.

Interesting...

From past fake rumors/photoshopped images people have usually gone for something abit more awesome like a PDA or new iMac model. I don't think anyone would have bothered faking this.

Yes there are strings on the main Apple logo. I cannot really find any faults with this picture (though not looked fully yet)

Its got me curious. How come we haven't heard anything?

perhaps...

but if you put up a legitamite photo, I'd say about 50% of people will say it's fake.

examples include: the Cube photos and Quicksilver Photos. People went on and on how they were "clearly" faked. People going on how they worked in photoshop for years and years and how it should be obvious to a blind man that those were photoshoped.... heh...

anyhow, I think fake mostly due to circumstances.

because they are behind the screen.

Yea, I'd like to see you do all those pixels in photoshop around that entire edge perfectly blending each pixel into the background color to maintain a perfect circle. Please, those pixels make it more real.

You have a good point there, I'm against an Apple-Intel relationship, so I'm probably more likely to call it a fake.

Also, has anyone noticed that this is a Marketing event. I can't believe there would be any ground breaking announcements at a marketing event.
