I am assuming that the SIM dual band reference to the airport base stations is some attempt to incorporate AT&T's microcell into their units? That would be fantastic if that's the case...although I have a hard time believing that apple would want to stick its nose in there...

Does "SIM"not stand for Simultaneous as in both B/G + N like they new ones do anyway..

Well the UK site's up with "The New iMac" image, Magic Mouse included, 27" display, etc.

"The new 21.5-inch iMac features 1920-by-1080 HD resolution. Apple engineers could simply have stretched that resolution up and out for the 27-inch iMac. Instead, they took the display well beyond HD with 2560-by-1440 resolution. That’s 78 per cent more pixels than the 21.5-inch iMac."

Finally, the Mac Mini, much loved, but always rumored to be due for retirement, got some love today too. The new entry-level Mini still sells for $599 and sports a new 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, an Nvidia Geforce 9400M graphics card and a 160-gigabyte hard drive. A second model priced at $799 boosts the performance on the Intel chip to 2.53 GHz and the hard drive space to 320 GB.

As many probably already know, it turns out that many Mac Mini owners use their machines as inexpensive servers. Seeing an opportunity — Apple’s Xserve professional server line starts at $2,999 – Apple has launched a Mac Mini server for $999. The target Schiller says is small businesses for whom an XServe would be too expensive, as well as enthusiast consumers looking for an inexpensive, small-footprint media server server to share files around the house. The server has the same dimensions as the traditional Mac Mini, and supports storage capacity as high as One terabyte, but lacks an optical drive. It ships with a server version of Apple’s Snow Leopard operating system.

A second NIC is crucial, I hope they deliver it.

I ordered Time Capsule on October 6th.

Apple told me that it would not be shipped until 22nd October. I figured something fishy at this point. Im throwing a prediction out their that the new macbooks will be silvery and the new time capsule/ airport will no longer be white :p

Perhaps you are confused about time. We are currently under Daylight time, not Standard. 12:01 EST would be over an hour ago, if it existed today.

I apologize, EDT... It will be EST as of Nov. 1st

So I don't know how to post pictures but even though the Apple Store is down you can go in and look at individual products like you normally would.

There is a new MacBook. It has a glass trackpad and it has the new battery, looks to be a unibody plastic design if I had to guess ... my internet connection is slow right now as I'm as Cleveland's airport
