Me getting a 27" imac today if the Apple Store here has one... That is the most beautiful iMac I have ever seen...

The macbook looks incredible! Just $999

Unibody, 9400M graphics, built in battery. The internal layout is the most impressive thing, though.

go to the "mac" page and not the store and check out the new line... at least the new iMac is up

I suppose it would make sense that the 27" would come before the 30".

I can be happy with a quad core 27" iMac though. Nice update Apple.

So I don't know how to post pictures but even though the Apple Store is down you can go in and look at individual products like you normally would.

There is a new MacBook. It has a glass trackpad and it has the new battery, looks to be a unibody plastic design if I had to guess ... my internet connection is slow right now as I'm as Cleveland's airport

Good find. This link has info on 21.5 and 27 inch iMacs. Looks like 24 inch is gone.

Internet marketing at its best

The gang at Apple, are no doubt ready to launch the store any time. But are sitting there watching this and other communal areas of the Apple faithful, waiting for the tension to build to just the right pitch before finally opening the door.

There is a MS Gates joke there... remember Sienfeld trying to open up the Gates with a decided lack of pitch. But I digress.

Quad-core power.
The available quad-core Intel Core i5 or Core i7 “Nehalem” processor in the 27-inch iMac puts four processing cores on one die, so data doesn’t have to travel far to get from core to core. This boosts application performance up to 2x over the previous-generation iMac.1 And unlike systems that connect memory to the processor through a separate controller, these quad-core processors connect memory directly to the processor, improving memory bandwidth up to 2.5x.2

Turbo Boost.
A quad-core iMac also benefits from Turbo Boost. If you’re using an application that doesn’t need every core, Turbo Boost shuts off the idle cores while simultaneously increasing the speed of the active ones.

They are really blurring the lines between the MacPro and the iMac.

This is a nice compromise though, I was never going to buy a MacPro. An i7 in an iMac makes it very competitive against other personal computer offerings from competitors.

I think Apple is going to gain significant market share with this iteration.

I would have appreciated a slightly different look to the Mac mini. Nevertheless, all these changes are welcome!

iMac has 1080 resolution, but no Blu-Ray? Grr...

Have iMacs and Mini already, but I'll take that mouse as soon as the store is up.

Maybe it's because I'm not in the market for a new computer, but the only thing I'd consider buying is the "Magic Mouse." And that's only because my Mighty Mouse's scroll wheel is broken.

If I was in the market, the Quad-Cord 27" iMac would look mighty nice. Maybe Magically nice.
