Does anyone think it means anything that the Mac Mini is listed as shipping in 5 business days on all the apple sites I've checked, but the iMac is saying 24 hours? At least a sign we can expect a Mini refresh? I'm looking to buy one at the moment. Happy enough with current specs for what I need to do, but could really use a price cut.

YOU WOULD BE LITERALLY INSANE TO BUY ONE RIGHT NOW! WAIT 2 FREKKIN HOURS!

do you think Apple can move an update just because rumors coming out? Maybe they had planned to launch today, but as rumors came out yesterday, they will take next tuesday.

Dnd talk about that it will not take Gruber seriously about this not anymore unless it proves correct.

AFAIK they never have before, even in the face of much more detailed (and subsequently accurate) rumours.

Of course I'm waiting. But if nothing happens today, I'm thinking 5 business days takes us to next Tuesday, so probably worth waiting another week as well.

Rumors come out every week.. Hence they should never launch new systems? Why would they care about rumors anyway..

If you've waited this long... you can wait at least till MWSF 2010 and then you can rejoice knowing that you have the newest and greatest iMac out there. (NEVER MIND FORGOT APPLE IS NO LONGER ATTENDING MACWORLD):D

As long as you don't surf to any flash imbedded sites, the iBook is fine.;)

Yeah, I'll skip Farmville on the iBook, it's horribly painful and slow. I can't believe how such a simple 2D game can run so slow, apart from the fact it uses Flash. A classic Mac could run it faster. Indeed I think that Javascript + Canvas could run it faster...

well even if nothing comes out today I will probably list my MBP... but I expect something this week. I would love to see a new iMac preloaded with Windows 7 :p That would be hilarious

the store is still up... lets pack it up people, nothing to see here... move along.

in every past instance,if something was to be released, the store would have been down by 7 am EST. and its now 7:20

rumors every month but this time, no clue from major sites such as NY Times, I really doubt that new hardware is gonna be released today...

unless it is a big surprise Apple is making especially for MS before the official launch of windows 7...

at what time is the apple store usually closing on Tuesdays for updates?

You do know that Apple isn't attending MWSF right? They don't want to be held to that timeframe for product releases.... and other stuff.

But i'd say there WON"T be hardware released during that time frame, "just because".

?

Not sure if it's been said haven't read every single post! But couldn't they do some sort of live webcast from somewhere with Steve Jobs announcing the products?

I promise I'll laugh at everyone who was expecting updates today...as soon as I'm done weeping silently to myself.

I so wanted a new iMac.

I still think they're coming. But I think it will be next week.
