Why not just have a checkbox so we can have our tabs on top if we want, or don't if we don't?
I don't think it does. Just uninstall Safari and find the version you want.Anyone know if Safari 4 comes with an uninstaller that will kick you back to 3 like the one that came with the beta?
I believe most of these terminal commands still work (minus the one most ppl are asking for)
http://observationpoint.org/journal/2009/2/24/hidden-preferences-in-safari-4-public-beta.html
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool YES
Code:defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool YES
doesn't work.

I hated the tabs at the top personally, it was a major reason to stick with Firefox which has now been fixed for me![]()
Yeah hence my comment in the parens. Anyone look through the plist file?![]()
strings /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari
Tabs on top, bottom, side, behind the window - wherever you want them. I have grown to love top tabs and the extra real estate I get on my Macbook's screen. Just add a preference setting for this, Apple. How hard would that be and who would it hurt?
This is going to give Chrome a boost me thinks...
