Doesn't work with Active-x. Doesn't work well with .net or aspx sites. Fail.
Same here, I can log in to Hotmail fine but it refuses to open up any of the e-mails. Works fine in Firefox and the previous version of Safari - so something is deffo up with this beta.
Anyone have any solutions?

I'll take the 2nd one for 500 Alex. 🙂
On the General Preference page it looks like you can choose between Google and Yahoo. Don't see a way to add or remove options from there. Submitted bug report... 🙁
Can someone comment on my previous post please. Does safari 4 install alongside safari 3 or does it override it in anyway?
thanks
So have they totally dropped Snapback then?
Can't find this asked anywhere...
Has anyone found a way of changing the default search engine?? I'm from the UK, and Google US is a tad annoying.
I used to solve this with Inquisitor, but that doesn't work (at the moment anyway).
Also on CNet, they ran tests of Safari 4 beta with Firefox 3.1 beta 2, which is probably more fair, and it showed that Firefox was still faster...

Don't know what you're talking about. Works fine for me.
Glims build 13 has half-fixed it. You can specify your custom search engines (And even make your own. I use ixquick) and the one at the top of your list is the one that gets used, in spite of the engine that's displayed by safari.
I suspect they'll have it fixed and another build out quite quickly. They're pretty good like that.
It overwrites, but comes with an uninstaller.
