Cause Mac VS PC commercial worked so well for apple!![]()
PC isn't a company or a brand, it's a type of computer. Where Samsung is bashing Apple directly, Apple bashing PC computers is not specifically targeting any company. #logic

Amazing how much that orchard has grown, given apple's marketshare was 10% 10 years ago and 10% today... you can give all of the personal observations you want, but marketshare is closely tracked and it's obvious that in the laptop\desktop market, apple has been essentially stagnant at 10 points for years.
In the year of 2007, Apple sold less than 5 million Macs. Today, Apple sells that each quarter. Again, what were you saying? It is also an well known fact that Apple makes the vast majority of profits between PC OEMs. Extrapolate, dude.
Besides, Again, I don't care about such useless metric (by itself alone).
So the question: Are you going to stop being such a blatant liar? Or are you trolling?
Im sorry but Ive compared with various other Samsung and Android tablets and the iPad Air screen is superior.
You completely missed the point. They weren't playing two movies simultaneously on one tablet. They were sitting next to each other on a loveseat, playing the EXACT same movie on TWO different tablets.
Pretty much the stupidest scenario I have ever seen. Ever.
This says it all really...
(Points out common notice in corner of ad that screen images are simulated.)
There's no need to debate if the scenario is stupid or not (it is) because the advert is just an outright lie.
Side-by-side multitasking is limited at best. There are not many scenarios whereby it's convenient to run two apps on one screen at one time. Even on a PC.
Not stagnant... CONSISTANT!

In terms of videos, that is what iPod Touches were for. Adult gets the iPad and the kids get the iPod touch to watch videos. For multitasking, yeah it would be helpful.

The video clip we see (and supposedly shown on the iPad) is also different to the one shown on the Tab S. The man in the shadows has a darkened section over-layed onto the rest of the video. I've modified the brightness and contrast to show this better. You can see from the circled section that it shouldn't be dark not even on a low quality LCD screen let alone a display as good quality as an iPad Air.Good eye, I didnt even catch that the first time through.
The screen image in any digital device in an advertisement is almost always simulated. Have you ever tried to photograph or videotape a computer or tv or tablet screen? Looks like crap. This isn't shady, it's necessary and common practice among all advertisers with regards to screen images.

Huh? PC and hybrid sales have gone up, so regardless, 10 percent market share is 10 percent market share. It's not trolling to point out fact. Speaking of fact, please point out where the Mac marketshare has skyrocketed since you state that it has.
HAHA Apple PR has a job for you. Most companies have a goal to grow marketshare, not remain the same, especially when they hold 10%. LOL.

HaHa.....arggg, an in the real world could you imagine sharing a tablet with a kid.
Multitasking is welcome, but not for sharing with kids...

The ad is an obvious logical disconnect since both the kit show and the sports show involves competing audio even if you do side-by side picture somehow.
I suspect Samsung's target market was determined to not notice or care about facts.
There's a lot of confusion of the term "multitasking". What you describe is not really multitasking. It is running two apps, side-by-side. Multitasking in its purest form as the ability to run and process another app in the background whilst using another.
Side-by-side multitasking is limited at best. There are not many scenarios whereby it's convenient to run two apps on one screen at one time. Even on a PC.
Tickers etc. are an exception. But that's why we have notifications.
I can see it being deployed on iOS but really don't see the value other than saying it can be done.
OH, how come I can see the man in the dark on my "conventional" LCD display, then?
