It is funny seeing so many people getting all bent out of shape over commercials, isn't it? You'd think someone was insulting their mother or family.

Nice size, but android is still crap! Tried a couple of Samsung phones and sent them back as Android is just a collection of disparate apps with very little integration between them.

lol what? Apple's idea of sandboxing every app is a much better idea? You picked a very poor, and wrong, example.

hugely annoying voice.

regarding multitasking i say hit them where it hurts until apple gives us better options.

btw is lebron signed with samsung?

I would have to guess so. He's done Samsung commercials. But I guarantee you he sneaks out at night behind his pool house, opens his secret safe and uses his iPad to watch old Michael Jordan highlights.

I think I must be the only schmoe left on the planet that thinks that the iPhone 5 is the perfect size, and would even prefer a smaller phone if possible.

The Apple rdf is apperently stronger than ever at Macrumors forums. Even though the S4 and Note 3 have both been very successful the fanboys still think no one is buying them. The fanboys also seem to have forgotten the old Mac vs PC ads.

Unfortunately, the public is easily duped by "bigger is better" messaging

Ironically, it used to be "smaller is better" when it comes to phones. I guess Apple didn't get the memo that everyone wants monster phones now.

So typically Samsung ...

Apple has a 4" screen ? We have a bigger one !
But it's ridicusly huge !
Well .... We have a bigger one !

Apple has a thin tablet ? We have a thinner one !
But it lacks proper tablet apps !
Well ... We have a thinner one ! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Wouldn't this be more accurate?:

Apple has a 4" screen?
So do we!
We also have several different sized larger ones. You know, in case you want a little choice.

Apple has a thin tablet? We have a thinner one!
But it has fewer proper tablet apps!
Well... We have a thinner one!:rolleyes:

Go have a read in Appleinsider and you will see some real psychosis.

Both criticisms are fair and spot on. If I could find something that was truly better I would drop Apple in a heartbeat.

Apple's QC and focus are off since Steve passed. They seem to have forgotten the voice of the customer and only hear the cha-ching of the registers

Anyone on this thread who criticizes Samsung is just short sighted.

I have to laugh everytime someone mentions Steve Jobs and how Apple has lost this or that since he is gone. When Steve was alive Apple had its share of issues including but not limited to such things as MobileMe, iPhone 4 antenna issue, lots of issues in iOS and OS X releases.

Sandboxing every app is a very good idea. Much better than having every piece of untested crapware you download from the Android store potentially steal your data and install malware.

haha i actually like these commercials, since they're telling the truth. I mean come on, its 2014 and on ipad you still cant have 2 apps on one screen at the same time.

Good, because iPad apps are optimized to make use of the iPad's full screen. If Apple tells developers they shouldn't optimize for any particular screen size, and allow for resizable app windows, they'd have to build for the lowest common denominator and sacrifice user experience. Basically build Android apps.

Did you also laugh at small tablets when Steve jobs joked that anything smaller than 10" was unusable?

Have someone splain to you exactly what Jobs said about tablet size. THAT wasn't it.
.
