1 - "The iPhone screen is too small by today's standards" who sets these standards anyway ?, Samsung's adds maybe, certainly not users, apart from a few kids who game all the time, they are not the biggest market. if you fly a lot, even to other countries, start doing a simple spot the device game, you feel embarrassed for anyone using android.

2 - Mutlitasking on a mobile devise is yet another marketing thing which has no meaningful use in real life

3 - Memory, this is a PC world paradigm not relevant to the mobile space unless your OS is a dog...oh wait

Usable standards are set by the people who use them, surely? There's NO question the iPhone screen is small by today's standards. Does anyone else have a screen that small, with absolutely zero other phone-screen options? I'm not saying that I "personally" have an issue with a 4" screen. I do, however, think Apple should be giving us a choice of screen size like they do with every other portable device with a screen they sell...

Multitasking has no meaningful use in real life? Tell that to my PORTABLE laptop, please.

Memory is a PC-world paradigm? Seriously? Tell that to Safari which constantly has issues on the new iPads due to a simple lack of it. Tell that to every app that has to load from scratch because the memory got wiped when I tried to play something as simple as Flappy Bird.

Please don't be an Apple apologist. It's possible to be a fan without taking it to this kind of extreme.

It is not like Apple never done something like that before. Still remember Mac vs PC ads? Still remember how Apple comparing Nexus 7 with iPad mini?
The I'm a Mac / I'm a PC ads were quite different. They showed differences but the Mac character wasn't nasty about it. They were designed to let the PC character show it's flaws.

I have no problem with "ours is better" ads, to me that's the point of advertizing.
I really find "that brand sucks and those who buy them are morons" ads very offensive. I've specifically avoided brands that use that tactic.

But then that's just me.

I was wondering if anyone thought the same thing. If either of these commercials comes on when I'm watching TV, I'm immediately flipping the channel.

Bravo, Samsung.
See, now....this is how I say it:
If any commercial comes on when I'm watching TV, I'm immediately flipping the channel.

samsung ads

What so surprising about this? They are simply showing the truth. The very tiny iPhone 5s screen is embarrassing and tough to view. Apple missed the boat five years ago and will probably never catch up. So sad.

So samsung whats apply copy them in terms of screen size? iPhone works well because you don't have to reach for anything and its easy to hold in one hand and work on it, like a phone should, Samsung's phones are so big and clunky you have to strain and reach to navigate :/

These sort of ads bore me, just sell your own project and let others sell theirs? It's so childish and petty.

No one can concentrate on watching a film and write an email at the same time. What a load of ****.

Lol! I don't think anyone can step to Apple when it comes to tablets...just imagine if Apple wanted to compete against the Nexus 7 and dropped the iPad Mini to $229 starting price...yeah, that wouldn't be pretty for competition.

lolSamsung. Focus on making something people actually WANT before you go and bash other products.

How are all those celebrity endorsements that you paid for working out?

It is not like Apple never done something like that before. Still remember Mac vs PC ads? Still remember how Apple comparing Nexus 7 with iPad mini?

What company was Apple targeting with the Mac vs. PC ads? Last I checked, there was no company called "personal computer".

Samsung's big mistake is thinking that Apple's success is due to specs. Thus, they make a mistake when they think that in order to "win", they simply have to one-up the specs.

Actually, they have no other option since they don't control the OS or have a significant presence in content delivery.

I got the GNote 3 and absolutely love it. Once you go big screen, you never go back.

For tablet, I returned my iPad Air and got a Surface Pro for $500 when it was on sale. The apps aren't as many or as good as the ipad but the surface pro starts to grow on you and its now my only computer other than than my phone. Using a real web browser is still so much better than using the mobile ones on Android or iOS. I don't know why they can't just put a real browser in the tablets instead of these BS mobile ones they use now and the ipad air browser was getting on my nerves with all the crashes, not sure if its a ram issue or what, but it sucked compared to my older ipads.

Remember the recent Samsung financial report, where they spend a boat load of money on advertising and wasn't getting the results they wanted?

Here's the reason :D

Those ads were just bad on a number of levels. It was tacky and classless for one. They also said nothing bout the products to sell them outaide of size and a pen on a phone.

This will STOP me buying Samsung as it is petty.

To analyse the products with the ads, well the phone they mentioned larger HD screen. I saw no diference in the pq of those phones, all I saw was a pointless pen with the benefit supposedly being I can send a crap pic by text.... Wow that's groundbreaking.

Then the tablets, yes multi tasking is great and we do want a pro tab however it may be slimmer but it looks ugly ... So don't try saying how good it looka and how thin. It looks thicker =/

If they had mentioned more specs and less point scoring then they may of had a point, but Samsung has come over very petty and that will not win you customers above the age of 10 and they can't afford tablets.

There is actually a multitasking solution on the iPad...but as with many other cool features you're going to need to jailbreak for it. :D

Talk what you want, but these ads make sense.

If you prefer iOS over android, Apple should provide you a choice in screen sizes (bigger screens, not even smaller ones like on the original iPhone).

And the multitasking is pretty sweet actually, it works well and fast. Unlike the iPad which is crippled with 1GB of ram that can only display 1 app at a time.

I have a note 2, and an ipad mini retina.

The note 2 serves my purposes because of screen size and more open OS. However, the ipad is a consumption device for me and I do not need to "multitask". The feature seems almost a niche because while it's good to have, it probably does not make many people more productive.

1. iPad should have a Wacom Digitizer.

2. Apple should finally fix the badly neglected video functionality on iOS.
Videos should go in videos, we should be able to save them off the web (& convert to Apples desired format from at very least, flash), iMovie should then be able to access everything in Videos, and get with the sleek 1980s and add Picture-In-Picture playback.

Samsuck might be irksome and misguided, but they're not entirely wrong.

Can't wait for apple to release a larger iPhone and for their marketshare to rise. If there's anything apple does very well, it's that they wait a while and get something just right. The iPhablet will blow everyone's minds.

I hate to say but Samsung is looking better and better every day! Apple really needs to up their game with the iPhone 6. The updates we've seen the past couple of years were not that impressive.. better chip/camera/battery with the occasional longer screen or finger print were nice but not impressive. Just saying...

Typically if you have an iPad you have an iPhone. If you absolutely HAVE to do something else while watching a movie use that.

Or, you know... Watch movies on a TV screen and put the damn tablet and phone down and enjoy he film.
