Yah, and gives away so much in terms of software that makes the most out of the hardware. People forget that so easily. Value assessment is not just about the hardware specs.
Sorry there is no defending the 9.7 with 2gb of ram they label it as a pro device and it should have came with 4 gb as the 12.9. I had to return my iPad 9.7 because of the apps closing a lot.

uh you do know that chances are thoes will be samsung screens right? so much for "take that samsun" the only thing samsung is going to take is apple cash for making thoes oled screens. take that apple...

In all honesty... iPhone is almost a rebranded Samsung. Take it apart and you'll see

That's why I'm so disappointed in Apple. They don't invent the tech, they only rebrand it and still it's so hard for them to come up with something great, design and feature wise.

We all pay for the Apple logo but it's a Samsung, lg and other Chinese tech inside

I like seeing tech news in general on here. So many stuck up people in here that should appreciate competition.
I've had iPhones since 2008 and deeply in the ecosystem. I've been curious about switching for some time now since samsungs designs are pretty sexy in comparison to the aging iPhone like. Bezels are horrible and the Phone looks dated in comparison to this. Smaller footprint/bigger screen/bigger battery/ edge less display. I do hate the Samsung logo on the phone but other than that it's leaps over the iPhone in terms of design.
Anybody know if android phones can do AirPlay through an app? I use AirPlay everyday and don't know if I can loose that. Let alone my Applewatch/MacBook Pro whole ecosystem. Sigh
Apple needs to open its eyes and push again. Only thing keeping me around are the Apple Watch and MacBooks. The apps I spent lots of money on too.

Absolutely agree. If I could have the perfect phone, it would be the Galaxy S7 with iOS. I mean we're talking about wireless charging, fast charging, curved displays and water resistance maybe coming to next year's model when Samsung has been shipping that for a year and a half. (Waterproofing earlier this year)

It's frustrating. I love Apple and have many of their products, but the lack of progress with the iPhone, particularly it's hardware is rather frustrating. I didn't mind the less RAM, the phone performed great, but when the competition is pushing out higher resolution displays, better battery life, faster charging, wireless charging, waterproofing, 64GB base storage (when Apple MIGHT finally go to 32GB) etc. and Apple is about to release the 3rd version of the iPhone 6 with the same screen as the 2010 iPhone 4, it's incredibly frustrating and has me looking elsewhere sadly and I hate it.

Problem with Samsung is once they have sold you there phone it's only supported with major updates for at max 2 versions. Until they can get release out quicker and for longer there is no chance I'd go back
Android doesn't update the same way iOS does. Core apps aren't tied to OS versions.

-sent from old ass S5... on the latest available public OS, Marshmallow.

Looking at the photo samples on Samsung UK's site the quality is impressive.

We never had the Note 5 over here (unless you purchased it from outside of Europe) so am looking forward to trying this out in store.

I'm interested in seeing how accurate this iris sensor and algorithm is. If this works as good as TouchID or Samsung's current fingerprint reader, then this could be the deal maker. I think the Note 7 so far looks promising from the videos and I doubt the upcoming iPhone 7 is going to be much different than the current generation iPhone. If it does turn out disappointing, I'll be no doubt jumping ship after years of owning the iPhone and being disappointed as the years have gone by.

Who do you think should lead Apple?

I don't know who. But someone who is really passionate in high tech and the brand Apple. Also someone who doesn't only look at sales numbers. Someone who is passionate in bringing the best tech to their customers instead of milking them out. Someone who doesn't abandon his loyal customers who made this company great.

Right, cause Apple has never ripped off anyone or put any gimmicks into their gadgets.

iOS 7 was a blatant rip off of android. And you can't tell me that devices like the Surface Pro didn't influence the iPad Pro. I find it comical that Apple hardcore iFans will shout from the mountain top that "so and so stole from Apple" Yet when Apple blatantly copies...you get the "oh, well that's different" bs excuse
