one comment about power share: If you think i'm going to give you my charge, think again. LOL
What difference in usability does it make? Keeping 90 apps open and having all status data retained? Power users editing videos on their phone?
You know what else makes a difference in usability? UI response time! I've used enough phones (iPhone and Android/Samsung/Google) to still notice a delay in how quickly the UI responds to inputs. Samsung and Google have done some catching up, but iPhones are still world class when it comes to this.
You said in your own post, most, not all of the screen protectors do notnot w with the fingerprint sensor under the display. Which implies you know there is some that does work with the under display finger print scanner without a cut out. So just get one that does work with it.Ummm, if you get the screen protector without the hole... it has been reported that the under screen sensor does not work. How useful is a screen sensor that does not sense?
The S10e is pretty small already because of the design. I can't imagine a 4inch version would be too popular, that would be smaller than a iphone 4S since it would be near bezelless.S10e is $750. Too big, 4.6” and way too much money for something with more features than I need. But the fingerprint sensor is cool. Cheaper ($400), smaller (4”-4.5”), flat glass to make repairs cheaper, and do something with the blocky looking OS - then you’ll have a winner with me. Oh and I still don’t trust OLED type screens.
Oh and it would be cool if they made high quality 4k and 5k computer monitors, mmmkay.
Slow OS updates for Samsung.Screw Face ID. Well done Samsung. If it were not for the OS I’d be sooo done with iPhone.![]()
What are you talking about? I don't close apps on my iphone unless an app has a problem. I don't have to manage anything. There's no UI lag at all. No matter how many apps are open. The cool thing is that even with 90 apps open, my Android phone has no noticeable UI lag. Try that on an iPhone under the same conditions and get back to me on that one. A good user experience means not having to worry about app management
What's wrong with seeing what Apple is going to copy next?I thought this was MacRumors. Must have bookmarked the wrong site.

Not quite sure if serious. If serious, I don't understand your post. If you had claimed the exact opposite you'd be much closer to the truth. A normal phone, a plus phone, and a cheaper phone are straight out of the Samsung playbook they've been operating for ages. They had the wireless buds as well.Samsung likes looking at Apple for business strategies...
A normal phone, a plus phone, and now a cheaper version phone..... oh and AirPods or whatever they’ve called them, although everyone is doing that.
Folding phone aside, Samsung phones are actually focusing on real world specs for improvement. rather than silly gimmicks only a handful of people actually use. But I'm sure the kool-aid drinkers will chime in shortly about the "user experience"...
It's almost like Apples failure to innovate in the software realm is now showing in the hardware realm too. Even the lowest tier model has double the RAM as the XS. And yes, it DOES make a difference in usability.
The entire history of computing has illustrated a constant, increasing need for more processing memory. You don't even have to look too far back in Apples own product line to see a graveyard of good tech left behind by their decision to kneecap their hardware to drive future sales.
I'm going to make a not-too-bold prediction: you're not gonna hear about missed sales targets of this line of Galaxy phones.
What did you use? A Galaxy Pocket? That's what it seems like.Typical Samsung fan argument.
Software and Hardware go together to form either product. I've used Samsung phones with more RAM, and they do not increase usability over an iPhone. Samsung's software is so unoptimized that it needs the extra RAM to try to match 1/2 the RAM in the iPhone.
Storage, Screen, Battery Life, RAM, Camera, Audio Quality etc...Still overpriced imo but not shocked. Prices should have been 650, 799 and 899. Still 200 cheaper than the Apple equivalent when taking storage into consideration, excluding the XR.
$999 16 GB iPhones lolThank you Samsung, for helping us out by making Apple innovate. Without the necessary evil, Apple would still be pushing 16 gb phones.
I have a drawer full of android phones. I've owned more android phones than iphones and every single one has been laggy to some degree. Some a lot, some just a little. None as smooth as any iphone I've owned. What did you use? A Galaxy Pocket? That's what it seems like.
