Wow. I am in literal tears. So beautiful. This is a work of art. This is on par with the moon landing. Samsung pushing forward mankind.
I've been feeling that way about Apple for awhile now, though. Since after the iPhone 6S, there haven't been that many changes to being just "another iPhone". Even with the X, unless Apple makes a noticeable change to the upcoming 2019 iPhone, it's going to be just another iPhone... again.
It's coming with the Android Pie updates. So the S9 are Note 9 are getting it (or have already received it) with S8 model version coming soon as well. When did this release? The last I used was an S8 which still had touchwiz.
AND it has a headphone jack!! See Apple. You could have done that too. But NOOOOO... had to be Courageous. Yea, right. Had to be idiotic is more like it.
While I'm sure many people don't miss the headphone jack, I don't think I've ever met someone who wasn't inconvenienced by the lack of a jack at least one time for one reason or another. Personally I plan on buying a device with a headphone jack for my next smartphone.AND it has a headphone jack!! See Apple. You could have done that too. But NOOOOO... had to be Courageous. S8 never had touchwiz..it had the Samsung Experience UX......which is why most people started to enjoy Samsung's software although I never had issues with Touchwiz like others often say. Touchwiz is the reason why both iOS and android have some of its main features...everyone should be thanking Touchwiz for the value it brought to both of the major mobile OS's. Touchwiz still does more than iOS...and thats a shame.
They’ve always posted tech news from other companies if it’s major. Nothing new here. Do you not want to see competition here or just want apple based stuff...I thought this was MacRumors. Must have bookmarked the wrong site.
Hm. I had the phone on work for a while and I was under the impression it was still called touchwiz but I stand corrected.
Oh yeah. Love Apple products, but these days, other than their in house chipsets and Face ID, they’ve done nothing that innovative in years. Hardware wise I would say there are now many others on par and in Samsung’s case beyond in certain cases. Impressive new phones for sure.Screw Face ID. Well done Samsung. If it were not for the OS I’d be sooo done with iPhone.![]()
I have a drawer full of android phones.
You don't need to apologize to me. We simply disagree.Maybe but those decides I feel we’re not available at launch or announced the same time as the premium versions, sorry but this time it really seems like they’ve copied Apples strategy.
What freaks you out about it? I'm not sure it's good to be transmitting through humans...Anybody else freaked out by 5g?

Surely running Android is a plus. IMO it's a pity you can't run Android on the iPhone.Good design and has under screen fingerprint reader. Too bad it runs Android.
No, when networks in the U.S. don't even have real 5G functioning; no need to buy a 5G device until 2021....everyone is better off with LTE for the time being.
that's not quite true, I know verizon and tmobile have test 5G in a small handful of markets... if you're one of the lucky few and have the coin, it would be a nice upgrade.

Nope, sorry, I know it’s difficult to hear from me, but IMO Samsung has just looked at Apple’s business strategy and gone hey, that’s great let’s copy it..
So far as I know at launch Samsung has never had a Galaxy S model of the usual size flagship version, the plus size flagship version, and a new size cheaper cut down version with lower res screen, less RAM but same SOC.

Yeah I’d rather have a notch then an annoying little dot!
