Anyway still interested to see how these headphones compare to the AirPods.

Look, Dick! There's no such thing as an AirPods competitor.
For me wired or wireless is irrelevant to lifetime. If I'm using headphones outside then I'm going to destroy them inside a couple of years anyway. The only difference is in the meantime wireless is more convenient.
It is not a matter of who does what first, but who does how first! Apple is not the one who races to be the first and I am glad they are not. They wouldn't be what they are otherwise. Apple is usually the ones who find unique ways to deliver its ideas (like Bluetooth pairing I mentioned on my comment) unlike some other "you know who" companies![]()
Huh???? But they haven't copied Apple.3 years to copy apple well done Samsung
Samsung had the gear earphones with that case before the AirPods came out too.Huh???? But they haven't copied Apple.
The case is similar to many of the other brands out there.
The buds too are similar to the other brands. Both the buds and the case are similar to my el cheapo Bauhn ones.
Samsung's case wirelessly charges too.
And they come in 3 colours as opposed to just white.
Kind of amazed almost this entire thread has others arguing about ‘who copied who’ between Apple and Samsung. My question is, why does it matter? They’re both competitors, both of these tech manufactures are going to release products that appeal to whoever is interested.
The AirPods are unique on their own, Samsung Galaxy buds are unique in their own right, pick and choose what works, it just sounds so juvenile to play these ‘Blame games’ for copying, when everyone seems to forget, competition is a good thing.
It would only to get you enough juice to last and with fast charging now 36% faster than last year you can always charge up your phone to replace what you lose via the wireless charging.hm. speaking from experience in-ear buds don't stay in very well for a long period of time, and as opposed to falling out and hanging on the wire - these will fall to the ground. i know everyone's ears are different, but even the in-ears that fit my ears well, would still fall out eventually.
as for being able to use the phone as the charger... interesting idea, but why would you want to drain your phone's battery?..

sure, but if you have a charger handy, why not just use it to charge the headphones?
i'm imagining a situation where you don't have one.
I never find connecting my Huawei phone to my myzone heart monitor or car hands free system a hassle. Just works. Before xmas my son broke the headband of my Senheisser gym phones and I borrowed a BT pair from a friend whilst I awaited a new pair as Xmas gift. They connected without any issues to my phone when they powered up.When you've used competing "true" wireless headphones you know. I bought a pair of Anker Soudcore True Wireless headphones because: 1) They were half the price 2)They were black 3)They were in-ear sealed
The ability to effortlessly swap AirPods between all your other Apple devices can not be stated enough. Pick up the device you want and pick your airpods from the list and done. They just swap over moments later, no repairing, no need to disconnect them first from the other device or turn off bluetooth on the other device first. Please enlighten me: Show me any others that can that efforlessly be swapped between your phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, TV, or Watch devices. Sure, you can pair other bluetooth devices to multiple other devices, but unless the last one they were used with isn't around or isn't powered off - its been a huge hassle for me to swap.
Depends if you’re at work why take more than one charger? You certainly don’t want to take your watch charger to work for example. Although I don’t know what the galaxy buds uses if it’s USB C or not.
Because the battery is big enough to comfortably last a whole day. If I’m on the move and my buds need charging I’d be happy to lose a bit of battery on my phone to have working earphones.hm. speaking from experience in-ear buds don't stay in very well for a long period of time, and as opposed to falling out and hanging on the wire - these will fall to the ground. i know everyone's ears are different, but even the in-ears that fit my ears well, would still fall out eventually.

I'd like to know who can use their earphones for a full 8 hours day in day out at work? Presuming it's the standard working day. Or even a student at school?
It seems a bit daft, you've got the earbuds themselves with built in batteries charged up, you then have a battery case with an inbuilt battery charged up to charge the earbuds, now you can use your phone to charge up the earbud case battery to charge up the earbud batteries.. how often are you truly going to need to use that?
I’ve forgotten to charge my AirPods case a fair few times and then I’m out and I realise my case only has 10% charge and I’ve got a full day ahead of me. On other occasions I’ve not put my Apple Watch on my charger properly and so it didn’t charge over night but I don’t realise until I’m out and the low power notice comes on. These are situations where I’d find the reverse charging useful.I'd like to know who can use their earphones for a full 8 hours day in day out at work? Presuming it's the standard working day. I think this is the most underrated post here.
The galaxy buds are not going to sell, for the simple reason that they are not Airpods, which is at this point the wireless pair of headphones that people want to be seen wearing in public.
Samsung’s wearables strategy is clearly a mess compared to Apple.
It's for emergencies. Out with friend and their phone is nearly dead. One can assist.
Or overnight charge of additional device from one charger.
Why won’t they sell? If they connect as good as air pods with great battery life and a lower price? No reason why they won’t sellI think this is the most underrated post here.
