You are right, it is possible. But I just don't trust Samsung! I mean just look how they changed their Galaxy Tab for 2019. Striking similar to the new iPad Pro, even antenna bands. build material (from glass to aluminum) they changed the camera position also, and after making fun of Apple about the lack of headphone jack, they did remove it themselves from the tablet! Not just copycats but hypocrites too!
So Samsung should just stay the same? I'll give you that one bit because it's hard to not redesign when the market's largest trendsetter did it first. I'm not sure what you mean by glass, to be honest. Except Samsung removed it from their tablet, not their phone. It isn't really copy-catting to remove a port. If it was, then the MBP 2016 was a copycat because it was not the first laptop to lose ports/function for sake of neatness.

Which tablet are you talking about?
No headphone jack?
Tab S4 had one.
Tab 5 se hasn't.

Both look similar, no buttons, bezels, form factor. the Tab S4 was launched August 2018.

iPad pro was launched October 2018.

Everyone copies everyone.

Well they made the first commercially sellable folding phone. It actually looks pretty neat for a 1st gen product. Apple hasn't done that.
Did they? I thought the first was the Royole FlexPai. But the reviews have not been too good. The Samsung seems more refined.

I often wonder the same about you people.
Lol you wonder what exactly?

I stated that those Sammy pods are a blatant rip off. They are. Period. Container too. Even more so.
Yeah you made a very inaccurate and illogical statement. It's quite obvious, you don't need to repeat it.

3 years to copy apple well done Samsung
Copy Apple? The samsung ones look much better than apples sticks hanging out of your ears.
[doublepost=1550738902][/doublepost]
These don't look like they will fit in anyone's ears particularly well... also they look heavy so I doubt they will stay in place as well as AirPods when it comes to working out with them. It's cute how they shamelessly mimic'd the AirPods charging case though.
They are in ear so should stay in place much better than Apples.

Be serious that Flexupexi thing is just a prototype people can buy.
It's not a commercially viable product.
Samsung's phone will be backed up by US carriers. Huge huge difference.

three colors, blue, green or black, but in the video all that is seen is white or yellow?

not sure I see the point to charging my earbuds case by sitting it on my phone like that. I dont often leave my phone laying flat like that.. and how long would it take? I suppose in a pinch it's an interesting idea.

The point is, it’s possible - if You need it You need it, to cite apples managers

Kind of amazed almost this entire thread has others arguing about ‘who copied who’ between Apple and Samsung. My question is, why does it matter? They’re both competitors, both of these tech manufactures are going to release products that appeal to whoever is interested.

The AirPods are unique on their own, Samsung Galaxy buds are unique in their own right, pick and choose what works, it just sounds so juvenile to play these ‘Blame games’ for copying, when everyone seems to forget, competition is a good thing.

I bought a top of the range samsung Tv 3 years ago , it had a major fault after 2 days

I've been an apple fanboy since 1991 and can count the amount of problems I've had with apple / macs in that time on one hand

Nuff said

I've had at least 3 Samsung TV's in my house for the last 15 years. Never had an issue at all & recently picked up a late 2018 model which is incredible.

Nuff said.

What’s really impressive is getting the buds free with any pre order
[doublepost=1550743143][/doublepost]
Except that they don't and I highly doubt we will ever see anyone wearing these. Just like I very rarely see anyone wearing these gear smartwatch things from Samsung. Samsung so desperately wants to be Apple, But I have to give them credit for not copying AirPods, instead copying Bragi the Dash this time. Well done Samy :)
Considering the watch is like £200 people will I’m sure

Stop being so Narrowminded here..what Samsung is doing is fantastic and if apple aren’t careful more will leave to get these phones and Accessories

That is classic "infant mortality" that ALL electronics systems are prone to. Someone has to draw the short straw to get one of these. Fully covered under warranty. Nuff said?

I think they (including the case) look much more like the Jabra 65t than like the Airpods.
They look more like the buds/case they released themselves in July 2016.

Icons and AirPods came out the same year.
Samsung released their ear buds prior to Apple AirPods.

Wonder how "enhanced" the sensor is to hear ambient noise better

Isn't that the whole reason to wear earbus, to "block" ambient noise partially?
Not if you are using them when cycling, and can't hear traffic around you. Or using them when you are running on a shared pathway with cycles and complain when you didn't hear the bell of the cycle approaching from behind, and moan when you suddenly vear into the path of the cyclist as they attempt pass you :)

So instead of copying Apple, they copied My excellent Sennheiser MomentumTW buds!

Yikes! I hope those sound as good as the corded Sennheisers I’ve heard before, because they sure are fugly just sitting there... I can’t even imagine how bad they would look in use. I don’t think I could wear those; maybe if there were no mirrors around.

All current lithium batteries will be crap after 3 years of daily use.

This is really my only gripe with wireless only for headphones. if you are having to use your wireless earbuds (regardless who makes them) on battery everyday, that means cycling the charges near daily, if not multiple times a day.

these batteries have a limited amount of cycles before they become mostly useless. wireless headphones are disposable products meant to keep these companies essentially with a limited lifespan product that you'll have to rebuy every 2-3 years.

Where wired headphones can theoretically last decades.

I'm not apposed to wireless. It's got a time and place that makes sense. But if I'm just sitting here at the office listening to music, why does that need to be wireless? Why kill cycles of my wireless headphones batteries? I use wireless where it makes sense and wired where it makes sense.

Either ignorant or sarcastic
When you've used competing "true" wireless headphones you know. I bought a pair of Anker Soudcore True Wireless headphones because: 1) They were half the price 2)They were black 3)They were in-ear sealed

The ability to effortlessly swap AirPods between all your other Apple devices can not be stated enough. Pick up the device you want and pick your airpods from the list and done. They just swap over moments later, no repairing, no need to disconnect them first from the other device or turn off bluetooth on the other device first. Please enlighten me: Show me any others that can that efforlessly be swapped between your phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, TV, or Watch devices. Sure, you can pair other bluetooth devices to multiple other devices, but unless the last one they were used with isn't around or isn't powered off - its been a huge hassle for me to swap.

Then you have the ability to use the Airpods independently of each other. On the Anker Soundcore only the right can be used independently. The left will not function with out the right.

The useable range away from your device is way smaller.

When you step too far away, loose connection, and then step back. They Anker Soundcore don't reconnect well, if at all. And you lose the left earpiece. To reconnect the left, you have to either redock both earpiece or on the connected device entirely disconnect and reconnect them (but it didn't always work, necessitating redocking both).

No auto-pause when either the left or right or taken out of the ear.

No effective usable on earpiece operation. The instructions for the Anker soundcore say I can tap or touch or swipe or something to pause music, skip track, or raise and lower volume it doesn't work. Maybe mine are defective.

Sound wise they're great since they're in-ear sealed vs Airpods on-ear open design but for the above reasons: They're no competitor.

I'm interested to see reviews of these Galaxy Buds or any other 'true' wireless headphones that addresses the above issues.

I’m not sure. Samsung had wireless ear buds before Apple did.

It is not a matter of who does what first, but who does how first! Apple is not the one who races to be the first and I am glad they are not. They wouldn't be what they are otherwise. Apple is usually the ones who find unique ways to deliver its ideas (like Bluetooth pairing I mentioned on my comment) unlike some other "you know who" companies ;)

BeatsX is technically an Apple product now, so if you like those, Apple already has a solution for you. I think AirPods are trying to take a different road and don't need to look like these other 'buds.
[doublepost=1550711147][/doublepost]

I already own BeatsX and I really like them. I just want those in-ear buds as a true wireless solution like the AirPods, without the chord.

For me wired or wireless is irrelevant to lifetime. If I'm using headphones outside then I'm going to destroy them inside a couple of years anyway. The only difference is in the meantime wireless is more convenient.
