They could've released it yesterday and still they would've been beaten by Apple. The pure genius in that company is mind boggling.

Don't make me laugh with the kool aid.

Pure genius? Please. If they were geniuses, the apple music service issues would've not happened. Explain that mess.

If they were geniuses, they need to grow a pair of balls and beef up the specs of their phone products without being miserly with their money.

If they were geniuses, the Apple watch launch mess should've never happened. What they did was sheer stupidity.

I could go on but I digress.

For me it is the S Pen. Apple doesn't offer anything even remotely close. To me the Note series simply has no competition.
I love the S Pen on my Note 4 and Note Edge. I mainly use the pen for screen caps though. As you may or may not know, you just take out the pen, click on smart select on the air command pop up and then you just draw a box around the part of the screen you want to capture. You then hit share and can email, Facebook, tweet, email or whatever you want with that screen cap you just captured with the pen.

I wish my 6+ could do that without capturing the whole screen and then using an editor.

The hate is strong.

And that hate is only going to get worse as Apple continues to prosper.

Grow a pair and beef up the specs? Hilarious!!!! You know, if they did beef up the specs they would not pay with their money - it would be consumer who would end up paying for those specs. Selling unneeded specs is a smoke and mirrors tactic used by desperate Android manufacturers trying to lure people away from a superior product. Since they can't match the quality of Apple's hardware and software, they try to give the people what they don't need. The downfall of Samsung proves that people are finally realizing that it was indeed all smoke and mirrors.

Samsung is now painfully aware that most people are no longer mesmerized by specs. So what do they do? They design an iPhone clone...and that one does not sell either. Again, hilarious.

I'll say it again. If Apple wants their phone to be the premium of choice, they need to beef up the specs including RAM. Crippling it is akin to robbery.

They're robbing you of money by forcing you to buy phone after phone, locking you out the ability to add in more memory and forcing you to use the cloud which is quite unreliable.

With an SD card, it's better that way to add more media off grid and expand the phone's mileage and lifetime.

Imagine trying to buy a car with a unibody design that doesn't allow you to open the hood to make repairs or upgrades.

How would you like that?

HTC is still around and they're ahead of Apple in the VR market with the Vive. I've seen some of their phones and they're pretty good.

Samsung has already crushed HTC. Nokia is technically still around and look at its sad state.

As for the VR market, of course HTC is ahead of Apple when Apple hasn't entered the market. By your childish logic Ford and Honda are ahead of Apple in the car market because ugh, Apple has no car.

Nokia? You do KNOW that they're returning to the phone market? As for the Note 5, I don't think it's the end of Samsung. That company will not stop at that point and will continue in the smartphone market. I've seen the Note model months ago and was impressed with what they managed to pull off with.

Spec matters, especially with RAM and expandable memory. The iCloud, to me, is nothing but a BS excuse by Apple to avoid using the SD card route. Apple needs to jack up the RAM on their phones or find themselves catching up again. iPhone may be a good product but it is no longer the 'gold standard'.

Ok there champ, you keep believing that.

Nokia making phones again? Hahaha
Any way it's a shame you did not buy the note or the htc, it doesn't seem very many actually purchased the devices either, well according to htc and samsungs respective financials.

You are obviously exaggerating.

The performance of my phone is excellent. I don't have storage problems on my 64gb iPhone. I don't use the cloud and I still have 15gb of storage available.

"Speccers" will never get the strange concept that uber specs != market success, particularly when the low end is already deep inside good enough territory.

Android OEMs don't get it either when they already had the 20/20 foresight to see whatever happened to the PC OEM industry before will surely happen to the Android ecosystem, but yet they still drank the Google Kool-Aid to eventual bottom barrel commoditization.

For an apple apologist, you keep bringing numbers when it's supposed to be about the human element of marketing success. But wait, numbers don't mean anything to Apple, right? How hypocritical.

What's the sales numbers for the Apple Watch then, not including pre orders?

Nokia is already returning in. Do your effing research.

And I think your hiding under a rock with an apple emblem engraved on it and not seeing reality around you.

And I don't think that Cook is the right man to run the company. Has never been, no matter how hard he tries.

Wow talk about a chip on your shoulder.
I have done my research perhaps I understand it a little better than you.

Nokia are not reentering the phone market, perhaps you should go back and look over your research?

You should buy he note 5 it might be your last chance, there is a direct possibility Samsung might kill it if it sells as poorly as the note 4, 4.5 million units, that's very disappointing indeed.

It's apparent you didn't do your research. They already said they plan on re-entering it.

If you say so:

"Nokia has denied reports it intends to return to manufacturing mobile phones

Nokia has denied reports in Chinese media that it planned to return to manufacturing phones.

"Nokia notes recent news reports claiming the company communicated an intention to manufacture consumer handsets out of a R&D facility in China. These reports are false," Nokia said in a statement posted on its website.

"Nokia reiterates it currently has no plans to manufacture or sell consumer handsets."

However, Nokia has said it is looking into returning to the smartphones business by brand-licensing."

I do hope you understand what "licensing" is?

I don't think your friend understands.
