Until next year when they ditch it too.
I'll have to pay around 70€ to get Earpods, Lightning cable and 5W charger. No, I don't already own those. What really sucks is that Apple lightning cable is proprietary. If Apple was for real they would include a promotion where you can get them for free or massive discount if theres need. There should be a law that prohibits this. You don't sell an consumer electronic product with no way to power it.
Literally the first thing that came to mind.Until next year when they ditch it too.
100 per cent agree. The other whine is “ the government should do something about this”. People that say that of course, never intend to do anything themselves, but they can still appear virtuous if they insist the government does.I don't often respond to quotes from others. But ... NO, there should NOT be a law that prohibits this. "There should be a law..." is practically everything wrong with Europe these days. If Apple (or any company, for that matter) wants to sell a product with batteries, chargers, headphones, paint, plastic, even main components missing, as long as they aren't lying about its absence, that's FINE. That's the free market. The *consumer* will decide if the value exceeds the cost of the product. The only exception I would make to this argument, is a safety issue that impacts the rest of society, like a car without a steering wheel, etc.
Don't underestimate them. They will swallow anything without any data or proof required.i think the insult stems around the claim that the accessories are no longer included to save the planet.
I think that's pretty hard to swallow even for rabid environmental fanatics.
Saving money? Lmfao these are penny articlesWhilst I think this is more about Apple saving money as opposed to the environment, it will still have a positive impact and reduce so much e-waste. For Samsung to mock it is rather pathetic and could backfire.
I fully agree with the fact, that there are enough adapters lying around in every house, but the fact, they now add an USB C cable is kind of very questionable. Apple stopped thinking a bit too early. Just the fact, that they did already include a USB C charger with the iPhone 11 does not make it any better.I get that Apple wants to save waste and most people don’t use their adapters in the box. But most people don’t have USB C adapters. So they can’t even use the USB C cable that comes with it. I think Apple should’ve included an adapter this year and going forward not include one.
