Until next year when they ditch it too.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Until next year when they ditch it too.
I'm not sure that chart really indicates what you're implying. That says the iPhone 11 is 6% faster than the Galaxy devices.Speed?

and this year's iPhone is 25% faster than last year's. Keep trying Samsmug
(And Kudos for paying the Qualcomm extortion, it was a nice try for Apple to break it by going with Intel, who failed on 5G, but sometimes you just gotta try to do what is right)
I'll have to pay around 70€ to get Earpods, Lightning cable and 5W charger. No, I don't already own those. What really sucks is that Apple lightning cable is proprietary. If Apple was for real they would include a promotion where you can get them for free or massive discount if theres need. There should be a law that prohibits this. You don't sell an consumer electronic product with no way to power it.
Not to mention the USB C power adapter only came with the iPhone 11 Pro, not the iPhone 11. All iPhone 12 models come with a USB C cable. Also, most people upgrading to the iPhone 12 will do so from a device older than the iPhone 11 Pro.I fully agree with the fact, that there are enough adapters lying around in every house, but the fact, they now add an USB C cable is kind of very questionable. Apple stopped thinking a bit too early. Just the fact, that they did already include a USB C charger with the iPhone 11 does not make it any better.
In some ways, I feel like the mocking is justified. IMO, Apple's nixing of the charger was a bit premature, especially since we're not talking 5W adapters, but rather 15W+ adapters. In other words, "too soon."
I literally had to start giving away charging bricks because we had accumulated so many.
My wife keeps one pair of earpods in her backpack, I keep on at my desk and one in my work bag, and then I think I have two more sitting in a drawer, but then almost always use my AirPods.
Some people might find the change silly.
I totally get it.
Me too, I’ve got them all over the place. Half the time if my iPhone needs a quick bump I just use the MacBook to charge it. Out of 6 Apple chargers I have there’s currently 1 in use.I literally had to start giving away charging bricks because we had accumulated so many.

Unless it was a trick just to be able to mock Apple now.Until next year when they ditch it too.
I get what you're saying but that's the customer's responsibility to check what comes in the box BEFORE purchase so they can be prepared to use the product. That goes with any product including clothing.I get that Apple wants to save waste and most people don’t use their adapters in the box. But most people don’t have USB C adapters. So they can’t even use the USB C cable that comes with it. I think Apple should’ve included an adapter this year and going forward not include one.
wait 3 years and it will be a trend. But still stupid and greedy because in Brazil they raised the price of iPhone 11 and still removed the adapters. shame.
The new iPhone 12 gives me everything I want in a smartphone. Like a battery that doesn't explode.
